Maybe thf > nin in bhaflau thickets, or anywhere with flying mobs.. On mobs that aren't weak to piercing I have trouble believing that.

I haven't had a chance to do standard merits since I got Mandau, but I don't see a situation where a Kikoku NIN would outparse a Mandau THF in EXP, provided they both WS about the same # of times. The dagger update made the DPS difference negligible and on WS, THF is going to outclass NIN if they stack with either TA or SA every time.

But again, that's all assuming everyone uses WS the same # of times, which clearly isn't the case. That's why MNK and Ridill WARs will typically outparse everyone else, because they do high DPS and TP/WS faster than most jobs. NIN used to be right up there as well but the TP floor nerf changed the situation a bit.

On HNMs, I don't see NIN with Kikoku outdamaging the "good" DD relics (Gkt, Dagger, Scythe, Bow/Gun). With /WAR and an attack build you'd still have trouble pushing attack high enough to deal serious damage without compromising survivability, and with /THF you'd be crippled by the low base damage relative to 2H relics when using Metsu. THF suffers the same problem but gets AGI/DEX bonus from TA/SA to help the situation a bit.

Again, I haven't seen a Kikoku in action, just basing it on what I've seen on my NIN and THF as well as some damage info in Dynamis from a NIN on Fairy who has S4 Katana. Maybe once he's finished (@3000/7000 iirc), I'll have a chance to parse with him.

'tis true. Relic katana doesnt make nin superior to many DD's now a days. TP floor change along with the dagger patch makes me able to outparse the only relic katana wielding ninja I've seen. Granted it was by a very small margin at the north camp in thickets where 80% of the mobs are high VT-low IT mamools, but myself a lolthf without relic did outparse him by a bit.

I noticed alot of threads comming up about Relic 5s so I compiled a little list, If I am missing some, or this is miss done, let me know and I will fix it.

Yet you didn't get the relics that were listed in the threads? Ironic.

Man.... I spent a long ass time cleaning up your list. Alphabetized it by weapon>server>name. Did server total tallies and weapon total tallies. Fixed your duplicates and spelling errors.

Takes about 5 seconds to alphabetize everything if you know how to use Excel >.> But yea, that unalphabetized shit is weak, need to fix that lol.

I did use Excel, but people wanted it organized by Server then by Name. I used his original list, which was Name, then Server. I'm not that good with Excel, so I don't know how to switch them around automatically before doing Auto-sort. I had to manually retype server names in front of the player names before Auto-sorting. It was almost 300 lines. ; ;

I acually dont have excel. I did it my way because I dont have it, and it takes way to long by hand. If u do it for the updated list I will be more then willing to use it
