Well, Asura has a stage 4 dagger too (Drevni), we are now 0/3 on animated dagger, since it loves to warp on us (15%-40sec, 10%-20sec, 50%-15sec ), she has currency, we just need fragment and it will be done. It sucks, we have tried couple of different things we have read about keeping the weapon interested, and it still warps out, is interesting that even having her use Mercy Stroke when it seems bored would not hold its interest long enough...can't help but feel that SE hates us (my ls) when it comes to finishing this relic, we did 6 runs for atestation (5clubs dropped, lol), and now we are looking at 4th and hopefully, last try for it

You just have to kill it fast. Bring 2 Kraken DRKs if you can and you should be able to seal the deal. Otherwise you need to set up Shield Bash orders and Flat Blade orders, and people with WS stun need to always save TP for when it starts warping, and use Icarus Wing immediately after and hold again until it starts warping.

Mercy Stroke would keep it interested for me sometimes, and not others. Particularly when we killed it ridiculously fast, Mercy Stroke wouldn't interest it. My general feeling is that you need a certain number of "WS points" for it to be interested. Relic WS count for more points than normal WS. The number of points you "need" is proportional to how much damage you've done on the mob as well as how much time has passed. So, when you do a ton of damage fast, the number of points needed skyrockets, and even with relic WSs + normal WSs, it's not enough. In that case, the only option is to kill it before Warp finishes casting, or to stun it with Shield Bash and/or Weapon Skills.

Even if they get them easier, Id rather waste coins on a BST over a BLM/SMN..

Number of BST's I usually see in a Dynamis LS: 0-2
Number of SMN/BLM's I usually see in a Dynamis LS: 3-15

Not only do you need the 'right job' but you also need the gil and drive to upgrade. Rarely is an upgrader handed 18000 coins and said "enjoy!" they have to pay for it and find ways to trade for what they need, etc. Higher chance one of those 3-15 will be able to over the 0-2. Seeing as how it's a mere 3 v 2...shows people know it's lolClaustrum
