A ninja with Kikoku will out damage any other damage dealing jobs with relic on the majority of mobs..

Have you seen a relic NIN AND a relic DRK/DRG/THF/BST/Etc etc? I seriously doubt it. One of DRK and DRG's problems (shitty, shitty weapons, look at Ori Scythe and Mezraq then compare to Destroyers and Jugg/Maneater) is fixed by relic.

I just know how powerful ninja dual weild is. Only other relic i've personally parsed against is sam Gkt, which is nice, but still doesn't come close to ninja damage. The mandau, with war sub does interest me. With all of the double and triple attack on such a powerful weapon, I think it would likely be the closest competitor to a Kikoku Nin.

You'd be surprised on the power of the 2h weapons. I've seen the scythe, it really is that much of a step up on DRK.

Assuming max merit/gear, I think the general order of damage potential goes like...

mnk/war > ridill war > mnk/nin > thf/war, thf/nin > nin = nonridill war

Should be cheap to find out, just pass in a inahinto + the 1 mil in synth mats. If he takes it and asks for currency, you should be able to upgrade to yoshimitsu.

Or, even cheaper, just talk to him with your Ihintanto in possession, and see if he tells you what materials you need to trade him to upgrade.

Without Relics yeah (though Ridill WAR vs MNK/WAR really is quite arguable). Also people seem to discount DRK/WAR (and DRK/NIN for that matter) EVEN WITH Abs-TP (RAWRRR) STILL.
