A Scanner Darkly was fairly unknown in the states since most major theaters refused to play it. I have to wait for it on DVD since I didn't wanna take a road trip to the nearest theater playing it.

Scanner Darkly is definately one of the few good movies of the summer... Keanu actually makes up for Matrix: Revolutions. Also, expect to see a best supporting actor nominee for Robert Downey Jr., because he was f'king amazing.

I'm really looking forward to seeing The Protector, Tarantino has never really dissapointed me with one of his movies, and I don't expect him to start now.

I fell asleep watching Hero

The whole concept of 1 man killing an army all by himself, or peoples beeing uber powerfull because of some "ancient art" that somehow allow them to jump 30 feet away... It's too much gravy for me to enjoy. I dont like most chinese movies.

Crank was alright. It delivered the action, but not so much anything else. I like Statham and all but this wasn't anywhere near as good as the transporter. I probably wouldve been pissed if I had went and paid money at a theater to see it.

Re: Flawless. I saw a Jet Li move the other day, but I dunno the title. Hurray for Indonesian brother-in-laws. I think it was this one though. Jet Li's latest, where he's the Kung Fu? champion of his town to begin with, and later fights in 4 styles vs 4 other nation's champions? Anyway, yeah this movie was pretty sick.

Apparantly The Inheritance trilogy is being made into a movie so i'm looking forward to that. Probably gonna be more or less like Lord of the Rings.
