Which is why upon wii release.... gamecubes will drop lower than their $30 ebay price ;POriginally Posted by Headspace
Maybe, but the gamecube does have the gameboy player, while the Wii doesn't. Some GBA games (mostly the ports of the SNES games) were really fun to play on the tv, since I'd basically done it years ago anyway.

Wii can call it whatever we want.
I haven't said anything yet, but 250 for the Wii pisses me off. Its pretty unreasonable considering from what I hear, it comes with only 1 controller and no nun-chuck or normal controller attachment. Casual my ass, lets hope the price drop in within the next six months. I may wait until then or when SSBM comes out, whatever comes first.
So far all preorders including mine say the box will contain:
# Nintendo Wii (Nintendo Revolution)
# Wii Remote Control w/ Strap
# Nunchaku controller
# AC Adapter for Wii
# AV Cable for Wii
# Wii Stand & Plate
# Sensor Bar & Stand
# 2 Batteries
And Wiisports in USA.
Good enough for me for 250, I just wanna play wariogames, zelda, and mario =(
Comes with a $40 game packed in.
The game is pretty much a tutorial on how to use the controller well, on top of supposedly being really fun.
Can we lock this thread? I love it but it's giving me blue balls.![]()
Damn you for literally making me Laugh Out Loud at work! hahahaOriginally Posted by edgarfigaro

All that stuff packaged in PLUS free online play, do not forget about that being packaged in as well. Also Wifi will be inside the box, Hai2u MS charging 100 dollars for the Wifi thing I had to get.
And yes of course the free Wii Sports which looks like so much fun. The last time this was done was SNES like they said, and how much did the SNES launch for, $200? In What 1990 or something? I would venture to guess that $200 in 1990 was a lot more than $250 is now. So kwitcherbitchen.
I just realized the Wiimote is going to use batteries? What is the battery life on the wiimote? This could get quite costly if there isn't some sort of way to charge the wiimote through the console (like the 360 has).
Ever use a Wavebird controller for GC?Originally Posted by Maguspk
Ive had one since the wavebird came out, and only replaced the batteries once, those things kicked ass. Im sure wiimote will be similiar.
Hai2u 50 dollar add-onOriginally Posted by Maguspk
50 dollars buys a lot of batteries that would probably last you for years with your Wii.
more than years, as was stated above, wavebird batteries last about 6 months (a 4pack I got when I got my bird lasted me an entire year)Originally Posted by Po
and fuck man, wavebird was the best wireless controller period.
Yep yep, that is what I'm saying.
Nintendo is definately the master of battery life. They have been good since the beginning, now its just insane how good they are.
What if you're fighting Ganon and the Wiimote dies?!!? Omigoshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh.Originally Posted by Maguspk
Or even worse: What if you're play cooking mama and the Wiimote dies...you fucking burn your FOOD. Oh dear.
I have 1 charged battery controller for 360, and 1 battery controller. I haven't had to change the batteries on the controller since I got it, 2 months after launch.Originally Posted by Lbelle
I'd imagine if the remote loses power, the game will pause and tell you to plug the controller back in, just like in most normal games when you yank the cord out by mistake.
