I've purchased more games in the last 6 months for my DS than I have in the last 2 years for my PS2. There are so many good, FUN games out there. SE just announced a bunch of DS titles as well.

DS lite is pretty cool. Got mine last week, and so far haven't been able to put it down. But from mentioned above, FF for the DS= Teh Secks

Reggie fking owns rofl. When he opened up at the 2004 E3, he came on stage and said something like "My name is Reggie, and I'm about playing games and kicking ass". I don't think he said ass, but it was a really badass line from Nintendo.

Square seems to be supporting the DS in a gigantic way. They have like 5 new games in development for the system, and the complete overhaul of FF3 for it. They've got the FF: Crystal Chronicles (hope they redo it entirely), and the Dragon Quest: Monster game for the Wii.

DS outsells the PSP on something like a 4:1 ratio in Japan, and now Nintendo has announced 4 million Wii's vs. Sony's 500,000 PS3s. Ratio sounds about right. Sony's reliance on blu-ray will kill them. They can't even make enough drives to ship adequate #s of PS3s at launch.
