btw, the reasoning for Pluto's demotion wasn't because of its size, it was because it hasn't cleared its orbit (i.e. it's orbit doesn't consist of just itself, it crosses paths with Neptune).

Of course, some astronomers complained that Neptune hasn't cleared its orbit either, then, because it crosses paths with Pluto, so there is some controversy involved in the new definition of a planet.

All this seems lame atm, but I am kinda pissed off, I was teaching my son about the Solar System for school the past month, I even got some models of the Solar System (paid some good money for it too), and taught him about Pluto the planet, now I have to tell him is some fucking number instead? Damn nerds (I know Irony, yeah, yeah, can't call anyone nerd when I am one too ). And what about how we all learned the planets back in school, now there won't be a "P" at the end of our acronyms, oh well...
