    Woodworking question

    my Woodworking is at 74.8 I've Been leveling it my making ebony poles (2x ebony lumber + wind crystal) which caps at 79. I have also been desynthing the poles to get some of my lumber back and the supposed skill ups i might get due to the fact the desynth caps around 79 also. I know the farther you go up the skill ups are harder to get, but the rate im skilling up is ridiculous imo. Im lucky to get .1 for every 18 synths. (oh yeah, ebony lumber is 120k a stack atm and i have been turning logs into lumber, with the rare HQ to save a little bit of money but not very much.)

    To anyone who leveled woodworking, what did you make around my level, please keep in mind i cant dump millions into crafting atm to skill up.

    I did Kilo Pumps until 76, then Cabinets up to 81. Kilo Pumps requires a Lv54 Alchemy sub, and probably aren't the greatest thing to skill up on, but that's what I did until Cabinets. ^^;

    Keep in mind all of these synths were done well over a year ago:

    commodes to cap (77 ot 78?)
    cabinets to 81
    *both of these were break even to profit synths when i did them, but they did take a while to sell. I would make 20-30, get a level or so, then send them all to a mule and wait for them to sell, then repeat the process as needed.

    Battle staves to the high 80s (may have been a bridge synth before these, but i cannot remember for sure)

    Kabura arrows to 93 (requires 53 bonecraft sub, but is all in all a very cheap synth that should sell for break even or so)

    That should be enough to get you going... feel free to PM or respond if you have any more questions.

    PS - woodworking sucks, on second thought quit while your ahead and go play WoW.

    Commodes (77) for me were break-even to slight profit when I did them. I tried to synth on Windsday for whatever that is worth.

    After that, I did mainly Cabinets to 81... which the occasional Scimitar Cactus (79) if there was cheap Humus on AH. Both were break-even to slight profit. I guess people use the Cactus for light element in their MH.

    Post-81, get your Bonecraft up to snuff and synth the hell out of Kabura Arrows to 91. Even with Advanced imagery and GP Items, you will get a lot of breaks at the start but skill-ups have been pretty regular. If you quiver your results, you can move them on the AH with some regularity as well.

    This is what I was getting on skill up ratio on combines:increases ~ 12:1 for 1-50 (any day/moon), ~ 48:1 for 50-60 (+gain day & full moon & 2-4 point timer gap).

    I'd expect the next rate quantum to be somewhere in 100:1 to 200:1 given the jump at 50 was about 4x. I'd have hoped the next rate bump didn't exist or was at least out around 90, though.

    So, 180:1 for your level doesn't sound too unexpected considering the rate for 50-60. It sounds pretty bad, but within the realm of possibility given the way SE operates. ; ;

    Commode to 77, Cabinet to 81, Battle Staff to 85 (loss, unless people actually buy them on your server), Kabura Arrows to 91 (get your BS up) or Laquer Tree Lumber (I did this when they happened to be on the AH for a shot at extra skill), Eight Sided Pole to 94, Lancewood Lumber to 97-99 (depending on how long you want to do it since this is an item you need to keep an eye on to store up), and cap off on Iron-Splitters.
