BlackBerry Pearl 8100

I picked this cell phone up today, I've been with tmobile for about 3 years or so and have 2 lines which I've been paying for my parents. I've also had a contract with Spring for EVDO service (wireless broadband) and decided to just go with tmobile's EDGE because I'd get a voice plan ontop of the wireless internet.

I went with this bad boy, came out on the 12 of this month and I'm wondering if anyone else has it. Aside from that, Does anyone else have a blackberry? Anything "Cool" you can do with them?

What sucks is that edge isn't as fast as springs service. Possibly because they're still using old technology. Hopefully they upgrade soon.

My dad works at Sprint/Nextel and is always on his. The coolest thing I found to do with them is play Brick Breaker...

I have a Sidekick 3 but a bunch of my friends work on Capitol Hill and BlackBerry's are de rigueur for lobbyist/Hill staffer people. Ride Metro around d.c. and you see people use the ol' BlackBerry's to tune out the real world and annoying people on Metro. Maybe I'll ask one of them what they're doing on it.

everyone uses their blackberrys that i work with to get bloomberg info too, and talk to their clients instantly on their bloombergs. They are Extremely nice and useful if you are in a business enviornment, i was debating getting one for myself but i didn't have enough clients to make good use of it... and i didnt have enough of a reason to get away with working from home ; ;
