I'll be playing a quality japanese RPG on 360 before PS3???

Enchanted arms isn't too bad, the best feature of the game has to be the option to switch off the english voice actors for the japanese ones. 100% difference in gameplay after that, the absolute worst english voices i think i have ever heard in my life. It hurts your ears, makes you cringe. But once japanese is on, the game is pretty fun. My 360 gets alot of use...

Is that because the JP voice acting is actually good, or just because you don't understand it, and thus just kind of ignore it?

Never thought of it that way, but if you watch a lot of anime, you know exatctly what he's talking about. but ignore isn't really the right word, because you definatly pay attention. American voice acting for the most part is just overdone or underdone. some of the companies are starting to get it right, but you can only cast Wendy Lee and Steven Blum in so many roles before it gets old.

you cant ignore it, i play on 5.1 surround and its pretty hard to pretend isnt there. You can turn the voices up down or japan/english, i wouldnt ever turn them down or off, and yeah, the japanese voices actually sound like they came out of a persons mouth and not a mouse or parrot. You haven't heard english voice acting at its worst until you've played Enchanted arms... The gay dude made me turn the game off a few times before i found the option to change it.
