So basically, you can kill wyverns until his 2 hours shut down.. If he doesn't cast magic at that point, you have a pretty safe win. If he does cast magic you're pretty much fucked.

We had to let another AV despawn last night because of that. Two hours were locked out but the bitch still had access to spells and TP moves. Of course, nothing worked when we tried to get it to use 2hrs again.

I'd say you're basically fucked if AV has 2hrs locked out but still has access to magic and TP moves. Unless, of course, someone figures out how to unlock 2hrs (and wyverns) for a second shot.

I have no clue why some shells are having success at locking them all out, while others get the magic/TP spam crap.

More like learn how to survive chained Meteor casts when it hit 79%? Can't do shit againt a mob that decides to do nothing but spam Meteor with a potency like AVs.

Are you referring to the Caitsith server fight; the one with the group that thought the key to killing AV was popping other Jailers? lol Because I remember reading the thread about that on these forums thoroughly, and not once did anyone who was actually from that server and witness to that fight say that they fought through the spells. In fact, whenever asked about whether or not AV was casting spells and if not what they had done to lock them, the person reporting information on behalf of the LS avoided answering altogether.

Maybe (and we haven't had him pop again for a while) he goes through all the 2h's once now and then stops. If he regens to 100% than it gets reset?

The only thing I've seen consistantly said is:

Start: He used 2h.
Lock: He stopped using (Wyvern dead)
Battle: 2h stayed locked, spell/TP spam in question
Death: Death
