Believe in whatever voodoo you want, but my bajillions of gil and mostly self-funded relic weapon says "day doesn't matter."
    /nod
You believe whatever you want as well. I do more tier 1 synths in a week than you'll do in a lifetime.
    lol OK there guy

I LOL'd at that too, but another question came to mind:

How do you have bajillions of gil AND relic? lol. I though there were two types of people:

    1. People that have tons of gil.
    2. People that spent tons of gil on best equipment.[/quote:58679]

    3. people that have so much gil they can spend tons on the best equipment and still have more money.[/quote:58679]

I had nice equipment for my main job (monk) when i finished relic, which I never sold, though I *had* started selling gear for my second job (rdm)..

Once I finished (back in april) i started rebuying gear for rdm, and started being able to afford some of the really nice gear for rdm, and for my 3rd job ninja...[/quote:58679]

Sounds like me, I never had to sell my monk shit on the path to completion (and in fact even bought an osode while crunching for funds), but I did rape my future ninja of all the pimp endgame tank gear I had made, and my blm is still gimpy mctribal. That'll change now that I'm not blowing 10-30m a week on currency.

I was something like 0/80+ on snipers at one point (way back when archers were still coming from stroper chymes)... 0/100+ is incredibly unlucky, but to say it's impossible is rather silly. It's probably about as unlikely as hqing 4 t0's back to back, but who else remembers that screenshot of 4 hq cursed gloves?

I dont think its silly I just never saw anybody go 0/113 on tier 1 synths. Cursed gloves are tier 0? My friend hq a bunch of those made me think they were tier 1.

Like I mentioned earlier, I've gone like 0/80, but it wasn't all back to back, it was over the course of a month or so.

The SS brennon refers to is the 4/20 HQ cursed mitts. And you're not alone in your sniper drought, I remember solsovly going 0/80+ over the course of a month or so.

I know someone who went 0/120 on errant slops, it's certainly possible and it's hellishly unlucky. I've had multiple 0/50, 0/60 sessions on teir 1's, probably just as many as going 2/ or 3/12, (or my favourite, going 3/6 on a teir 1 for wood GP, or even better going 3/12 teir 0 while skilling up on demon arrows...)

Craft long enough and it will happen. That's the nature of randomness.

Excuse me? You really can, and it happened the same day I crit broke two pairs of cursed slacks. If you don't think it can happen, then you're a fool, or you've never had really bad luck. Recently, my crafting patterns have followed this.

Edit, you said it's not possible and then don't think it's silly. It is possible, and it is silly. This is crafting, and this is the random number generator game. I wouldn't lie about NQing stuff, I have much better stuff to do with my time. (Like post in this thread! Tee hee.)

If it's not possible, then how come it's been done by several people on several servers? I say you're just stupid as hell to say it's impossible in the face of confirmation that it's actually happened.

Then again, you've always been on my case for some reason or another. I can't seem to figure out why.

You can still make a lot of money with cloth.
    Prisms are no longer profit.
Blue capes dont sell since Intensifying Capes are better.
Mahatma Slopes are trashed now that those new pants are out.
Jesters Capes and other lol synths are non profit.
    Consumable are swamped.

Ive examined every single cloth synth on my server, and havent found one that can remotely return a profit worth the time invested.

Perhaps cloth is still profitable on some servers, but on Phoenix its just like throwing away money.

I said this before you even posted so it aint about you. I just find it amazing that people say they went 0/100 TIER 1. I understand going 0/80 on SNIPER RINGS but i mean in between that you had to hq some other shit that was tier 1. If you go 0/24 prism capes then you make rainbow cloth and you hq 1 rainbow cloth you are no longer 0/whatever tier 1. Thats all i'm saying Im not talking about 1 synth i just mean how can you go 0/100 tier 1 overall.

If this does happen to people i'm sorry maybe SE is giving me all your HQs lol.

As long as your filter is objective and uniformly applied, there is no real difference in saying "I went 0/100 on <x item>" and "I went 0/100 on <x item> in one sitting with no other synths in between". Just like after flipping 10 heads in a row on a fair coin, my next flip is still 50% likely to be tails.

So you think its possible to go 0/100 m slops in one sitting with no synths in between?I would love to see that screenshot.

I've personally known worse (Solsovly did something like 0/24 t3 synths, consecutively. Statistically that's far more rare. I've done 0/12 t3 synths a few times, I usually quit after 12 tho ) and I know you'd love to see me go 0/100 mslops in a row because, again, you've always been on my case

I don't have really hardcore results like you guys, but I'm up to 2/41 Cerberus Mantles +1, and I crafted them just on random days with nothing more than imagery, so for me it just seems completely random.

I've done stuff like 1/2 sniper's on Watersday and 0/100 Penance Robes over the course of months on windsday only (a friend of mine is 4/80, w/ two HQ's in a row in 5 minutes, it makes me want to punch a baby).

But yea crafting is random for me, and mostly negative results yay.

make rainbow cloth for 5k profit per stack >.>

But yeah, CC is dead on Phoenix. As always, blame Soro.

And my personal worst on tier 1's was a session of 0/60 followed by a 1/50 on m slops...so I can definately believe someone going 0/120. (of course, I went 6/30 one day...it's all luck).
