If you read the article, it points out how exclusive n64 and gamecube games were ported to ps2 after 2-3months of release. First party for Wii means nothing if nitendo is the same old nitendo.

Good luck porting a game designed for the Wii over to the 360/PS3.

RE4 on PS2 was shit compaired to the GC version.

Honestly im not a fan of most PS games, I like the RPGs, some fighters and thats it. GC has provided me with more versitility.

PS3 has FF and GTA.

Too bad GTA4 is released on Xbox360 at the same time it is released for PS3. Mistwalker will be making FF type games for 360 as well (if you saw the other thread on Lost Odyssey). PS3 has very little to no exclusive shit worth talking about. Even the MGS series was released later on Xbox.

Wii has first party titles, which is what matters to Nintendo. Wii will do fine regardless of how good the 3rd party games are. MS and Sony are more reliant on 3rd party software, because most of their first party shit sucks ass.

I dont think people are going to leave Sony to play GTA4 and MGS on 360 but thats just me. Wii games can be ported to PS3 just fine they will just have to change the controls alittle.

GTA4/MGS for a $400 dollar system. (Just like above, speak not of the $300 dollar core)

Unless clean virginal hookers come the game for the $600 dollar system, I doubt there will be THAT much of a gap between 360 and PS3 and sales will reflect as much.

Blu-ray is not the fucking super jump in tech format that VHS to DVD was. Sony fails to understand this for some reason and that is why come Jan, you'll see PS3's sitting in Wal-mart cases. Once you sell to the consmer whores and tech whores, your left with the mass market. Backwards compablity and Blu-Ray are not a strong enough selling point to overcome the 360's full year lead and lower price point or the Wii's lower price point.

It had a few extras, because they needed to make up for the graphical loss from the GC conversion. I know I missed out on having new costumes..

GC had faster loading times, graphics and better controls.

How many good games on the 360 right now? About 10-15. About on par with past systems.

PS3 is about Sony using a game system to push their format into everyone's homes so Blu-ray disc sales will go up and as such they can go to everyone "Look, see how many discs are selling? Fuck HD-DVD, Blu-ray is worth it!" That's it, because they sure aren't building it as a gaming machine first.

Xbox 360 has 10-15 good games? That is pretty good for microsoft second console but PS2 got like 40+ and i assume that will carry over to PS3. BTW what are some of Xbox good games besides Halo i mean.

Original Xbox has Ninja Gaiden, Jade Empire, Knights of the Old Republic, Otogi, and shitloads of FPSs to play online whilst smack talking. Ninja Gaiden was better than any of the 3 DMC games and the overrated God of War. KotOR was an excellent game, Otogi was underrated imo, Shenmue is "good" but really too epic for some people, Jade Empire just fucking rocked. KotOR though was released on PC several months afterwards. Xbox supports 480p 720p and 1080i by the way.. not just 360.

I hate Sony just as much if not more than MS. I really fucking hate Sony.. everything I have bought from them since 1988 has fucked up multiple times. The only good Sony product I have ever had was a old yellow Walkman. Everything else was a piece of shit I had to replace more than once...
