I'm talking about even way before that. 8mm and Con-Air were probably the last decent movies he did in my opinion. Watch Leaving Las Vegas, Wild at Heart, Moonstruck, Raising Arizona, or Fast Times at Ridgemont High. All classics, before he started doing everything that crossed his path.

Ben Afflick was on the road to glory until he made 5 spectactulary horrible films in a row. Paycheck, Gigil, etc.

However, supposedly in new film Holywoodland he does a really good job acting and is getting great reviews from critics. Maybe hes learned to only take good roles now.

Thanks for the offer but i have one. And Ksandra is right. Ben Affleck has made some back film choices COUGH PEARL HARBOR but i think he is beginning to learn from it. He is pretty good when he is in a movie not directed by a fucking jackass.

On a side note i see Kevin Smith alot and he is a really cool guy.

Kevin Smith should stop directing movies, and just write scripts, comic books, and continue to blog the hell out of the internet. By far one of the wittier writers around today, but he is a mediocre director at best. Still, it's nice to see a successful person be as down to earth and humble as his writing suggests...any man that goes around publically announcing his small dick size has a clear hold on his ego.

Affleck and Damon are both great Actors. Damon has chosen better movies, Affleck just does everything. I haven't gone to see Gigli but I wouldn't be surprised if he acted well, but the movie just sucked too much for it to matter.
