    I've xp'd there a few times, U-Range doesn't work in pickup parties, it's so bad that i think at best all my parties got was in the neighborhood of 4-5k/hr

    Don't bother i've got one that's fairly top of the line from begining to end and it's a laggy mess. 20-30% better than 4 fps is still sad and nothing will fix that until something like that ageia card can actually work instead of being a gimmick.

    it's going to be Assault except that counter has no points to earn and you only do it for what may or may not be in the chest at the end of each one. if it uses the same tags, it'll be just like CoP Dynamis.

    The reason people keep getting disappointed is because they keep expecting something groundbreaking. It sounds like you want FFXI to turn into a completely different game overnight.

    Instanced was a huge step forward, but the lack of upgraded armor kinda dulls it. C. Chain, full set Yigit resting armor, and some other things are nice, but as a whole it's either useless or cheap alternatives to better gear.

    Mog Locker owns.

    Warp Taru is irrelevant.

    New jobs are nice, except kinda unfinished?
    Well for one, Turban. I use homam anyways. But people are all over Turban like a fatgirl on a twinkie.

    Theres the many new areas for 75 to meripo. Yeah it sucks that they get crowded. But they get crowded for a reason....they are very good to level in. I've gotten craploads of limitpoints there. People just don't spread out as much. But the repop times are pretty quick so it kind of evens out. I always check the area I want to go to before exping there to make sure I get the most out of my parties. But that's what you're supposed to do in the first place.

    Besieged is alright. I participate occassionally.

    Assaults are fun. And they do have items that are useful that do not take a lot of repetition to get. Chivalrous Chain, Potent Belt, Antivenom Earring, Insomnia Earring, and a few others. Then there are some parts of Yigit and Amir. I agree the set bonuses are kinda lame. But some individual parts are useful. Cheap alternatives to other gear as they may be, thats good for helping the people who aren't rolling around in gil.

    I've been doing the ToAU missions and they have all been fun. Unlike the nightmare of CoP. That shit was like pulling teeth to get through. I did complete though, but god damn.

    The one thing it lacks in my eyes are more craftable weapons and armor. The crafting part of the game seems to be hitting a low. More mid-level crafts that are actually useful would be great.

    Moglocker itself has made me quit using my mules for the most part.



    These reasons alone make me like it more then the sea stuff.

    The one thing I like about CoP is limbus and the items there. That made it worth it to go to the end. And my Rajas ring, of course.

    all of that stuff came with initial ToAU release, the ToAU release was great but the 2 patches following brought nothing.

    and Chocobo Raising doesn't count because that's totally independent of ToAU and could've been added with Zilart if they wanted.

    Well you could have added the new jobs without the expansion as well, just put the quests to get the jobs in the zones that are already in the game. The point is chocobo raising is a part of the ToAU expansion as far as SE sees it. I haven't seen anything that worthwhile come out of chocobo raising yet, but it isn't finished.

    ISNMs also. Using the IS instead of seals or items = big fucking win in my book.

    We were given more variation of Assaults to choose from.

    I would say Besieged NMs but I don't feel like being laughed at because....yeah... *coughs* >_>

    I refuse to agree that Shanny is more powerful that Ajido on level ground... but she is a woman, and/ergo she is crazy. That does sway the tide in her favor quite a bit. A badass she is not, however.

    From what I remember of the Windy missions I did years ago Ajido took orders from Shantoto like a bitch. He stated if the Yagudo were to attack Windurst they should just send Shantoto out to fight them all by herself. Pretty much everyone is afraid of her. Well that was a long time ago though, almost 3 years.

    pretty sure an account that doesn't even have ToAU registered on it can do everything in the Chocobo Raising process. also same goes for the Merit update.

    Mog Lockers and Missions and Assaults are suppose to be expanded because the first one deliberately withheld them.

    i'll give you ISNMs to an extent but i have yet to hear people clamour to merit for the main purpose of getting IS to do them. most of the rewards in there are pretty bland.

    I think she'd be more likely to explode or implode Yagudo out of her way.

He did however CS stun lesser Yagudo on his way to the Yagudo Avatar only to be captured. Shantoto is feared by everyone in Windurst lol. The way they talk about her in the Windy missions makes her sound like she is insanely powerful.

    She speaks for the whole Federation to outsiders, you may notice. That basically puts her as the Sibyl's right hand Tarutaru- and that's one mighty slappin' hand she's got too.

    Would you fuck with someone who can curse you into a slow, agonizing death-in rhyme? Heck, she was making the current Ministers her bitches when they were all classmates in magic school, never mind now. People fear her, hate her, and she loves every minute of it. If she went Kefka loony, we'd all be screwed.

    Looking forward to seeing her scheming, someone in S-E had a win when they wrote the character. Just hope the missions are up to par with the cutscenes.
