HBO would be a very interesting place for a show like Serenity/Firefly to end up on. To the best of my memory HBO has never tried to run with a live action Sci-Fi show. It would be a great way for them to explore some new ground, with a critically proven show.

I guess at one point HBO was thinking about doing a short mini-series of firefly to wrap things up from Serenity, but I guess that fell through. :/

I've been pestering everyone I know to buy the DVDs to try and boost sales. >.>; Hopefully Sci-Fi will take it up. But isn't the actor who plays Walsh in another tv series now? I hope they wouldn't have to replace him. @@;

i think i read an interview with JW, post serenity, that said the movie was the "end" for the Firefly series for the foreseeable future.

If I ran a network, I would give Joss Whedon two hours a week where he could do anything he wanted. It would be the best damn two-hours on television.
