Currently the rune trader is open (for those of you that, like me, made a bunch of accounts and made the 5 battle/5 post req for betatest benefits, im fucking stocked on free shit) and the system for buying shit is pretty nice.


I was skeptical about the legitimacy of them before the rune trader was open, but the system seems pretty legit, their first official tournament is slated for november and top prize is 10k

This is fun, sadly I didn't get in during beta for all the free goodies, but I got lucky when I bought a 30 pack and 2 10 packs. (total of 50 cards). I got a bunch of rares and an Elder Garu. I recently traded my Garu for a Dwarven King and am now working on getting some Barbarian Commanders and Draksar Archers to round out my BG. Anyone else play? If so, what are your names on it?

Ya, it's free BRP, download it, it's really fun, and if you're feeling happy about the game, throw in like 15 bucks and get a 30 pack and two 10 packs. You will probably get enough cards to make your own BG and then you can level up your cards. Leveling up cards is the best part, by far.

@Zalius : What is your name on PoxNora, could you hook me up with some cheap commons and uncommons or something? I had to sacrifice alot of my rares which I needed for my BG (e.g. Desperate Heal) in order to get my Barbarian Commanders and Draksar Archers. I got lucky as well and got my hands on a Dwarven King. But I need a few more Ironfist Pox I think to round out my BG and get the 10 faction bonus.

Ya gg definetely, I still think the premade decks are too powerful for their own good lol. You faired really well I was impressed.

Uhh, not sure if I have one of those or not. I checked out my deck a month or so ago, wasn't that great (almost nothing like my last deck, and I owned people in beta with my old deck) so didn't get into it cause I didn't see Rune trading active. If that's open now I'll look into trading some stuff and see how things go.

In sea atm, might hit it up later tonight or tomorrow.

I used to have a deck in beta with a Dwarven King (with that AoE thing when it attacks that gives units around it more AP leveled to 2 or 3), 2 battleragers with a lot of speed upgrades and 2 draksar broodqueens with nothing but revitalize leveled. I just ran the battleragers around and used the other 3 to feed them as much AP as I could.

Then I just ran them around killing everything that got in the way, lol. Fun times. I bet they must have "balanced" that trick by now though , battleragers were so insanely strong lol

What's your name on Poxnora? Send me a massage or something, my name is Maguspk (go figure lol ;p). But I'd love to maybe trade with you and stuff. If you're going to play again I can't possible ask for that Pox Harbringer, it's such an amazingly good card. At any rate, if you ever decide you wanna be really generous I'd be more than happen to take it off your hands. Btw, if you didn't know Pox Harbringer comes in 5 types, one for each faction, so you can essentially fit one into any deck. Also, they have insanely good stats.

@BRP, if you get on and play a few games with me sometime I can basically show you the ropes and teach you everything you need to know. The rest is up to creating a good BG to suit your play style. If you buy like 100 cards, you can make a decent BG easily. Buying 50 got me enough to make mine too, with some trading, so do whatever you want. But yeah, get on sometime. Also read the FAQ for beginners on the site and read the forums, they help alot and the community on Pox is really kind and will give you feedback and stuff.

It seems like a very deep and cool game, but you'll get left behind if you rely on the free decks. I'll have to spend some money for some cards I guess. It's like $25 for 100 cards. Deck sizes are usually like 20-30 cards tops right?
