everyone was new once, expecting people to be of "normal quality" the second that they put on a pearl is unrealistic (though sometimes it happens).

and new players rarely get stuff right away, but that varies with the circumstances of what drops and who has what. if the only things that are dropping is stuff the no one else needs, who cares if it goes to new players or not?

whoever it came from, they need to think of better insults than "noobs".

I'll never understand why I see so many RDMs wearing it, especially the body. And it's not just for town gear. It's as if they don't whether or not they want to suddenly run it and start meleeing, or use the crap magic accuracy for spells. When I see somebody wearing it for actual use, I want to just slap them. Can't get enfeebles to stick? AF 10x better. Potency or -emnity would be errant. If you're in a party and start meleeing, you'd be better off in a SH, granted of course you aren't kicked from the party.

I used to want to give Janeru the benefit of the doubt and say that she was someone who means well but just doesn't articulate with the best of them.
