Agreed, I ended up with a shit yellow bird, but I'm working to make it the best shit yellow bird I can have before breeding for Gen2.

Up your stats and teach them abilities now so you can be more choosey in how you raise your Gen2 bird with the October Update. Abilities can carry over to Gen2.

That's how I am looking at it. I'm making my current chocobos as buff as possible so their offspring will be as buff as possible. Now I need to find someone who is doing the same thing with a female chocobo...
