People have said it was shown in earlier episodes. Personally I never saw it before this week. The shot I was referring to was the most recent episode at the end. There's a shot of the painting for like 5 seconds.

What confuses me is that if Isaac already painted that, and then did so again, he obviously has some sort of control over what he paints. He may not be able to use his power without shooting up, but apparently if he's told to paint a particular event he can do so.

The painting was shown in an earlier episode? I'll need to check it out because it needs to be something that Sylar/Linderman doesn't want anyone to see. If it was just Hiro and Ando why would he buy it?

He may just be an art collector. He bought it from Simone, who was putting on an exhibit of Isaac's paintings. I don't think he cares if anyone sees it, because he agreed to give it to Peter when Nathan asked.

Isaac started to paint at the end of the episode, he didn't finish in that episode. I'm pretty sure the painting you're referring to is the one of Hiro and Ando under the bloody welcome banner, that's not the one Linderman bought.

Linderman is a mob boss or something, he said he would give the painting back but we don't know what happened with that yet. We haven't seen who Linderman is yet but he's definately part of the main plot.

That actually explains something that's been confusing me. People said the painting that Linderman bought has Hiro and some sort of statue or robot thing, so I was wondering where that came from.

I assumed that the painting they showed at the end of the episode was the finished version of what Isaac was painting. I guess they were just showing it cuz maybe the banner in it is the one Claire was working on.
