Well, I guess we know why keeping the cheerleader safe is so important. I got a real strong Magneto vibe from Sylar, but I've been assigning them superhero types since the first couple episodes so that might just be me.

Sylar is annoying and his eyebrows need a good trim (Almost as much as Nikki's teeth need filed). I do want to learn more about him though, but he definitely isn't anywhere near my favorite hero.

Hiro...fucking owns. I love him. And Claire's dad is def. one of my favrotie characters in the show.

edit: Nuketwig, you didn't know why they needed to keep Claire safe until now? I thought they made it retardedly apparent in the first couple episodes. You don't want Sylar to become invincible...

Guess I need to rewatch them, I don't remember them saying flat out that Sylar = take others powers.

Edit: Didn't think this needed another post, but I know we've seen corpses with the heads removed or whatever it is that he does to them exactly. I just don't remember what Sylar could do once the head was off being as obvious as you're saying, and that that's why he was such a threat, because of the unknown factor.

I thought it was kinda funny that Nathan's power made him abandon his wife in the crash. Niki/Jessica still left me somewhat confused.

It seemed to me that Sylar has the ability to analyze things to see what's wrong or how they work. Mohinder's dad suggested all your power lies in the brain so he analyzes other's brains. I'm just not sure how he integrates their abilities into himself afterward.

Iirc, in the future some corpses are frozen with brains removed?
Edit: I meant to add... if he is going to later gain the ability to freeze things, it seems that he somehow escapes capture or is let go for some reason.

In my opinion, Sylar does just gain the powers of people he kills or eats brains. He is simply a genius who thinks in clockwork. That is probably his original ability. He realizes that his power is weak/nothing to be proud of, but he also realizes that all powers come from the brain. He simply takes the pieces of brains to gain powers and adds them to his own brain, similar to building a watch, which is how he sees people.

Sylar is easily my favorite character now, he is clearly insane, but in a way you can understand. He takes the innocent idea of wanting to be a superhero and corrupts it to evil. God, it's awesome, this is what I've been waiting for.

I think DL is going to die, but perhaps not. I hope he doesn't. I can't think of anyone I want to see dead... I hope, if it's not DL, it's not Matt or Ando

I don't get it really, for the westerners, can't you not read the thread until it comes on over there... it's not like it's going to be of much use for people who didn't see it in the first place.

Getting sick of the small text, and it's not like im spoiling anything from this week's episode here. Next week's episode someone dies...That was the preview for next week. Anyway, i remember when Hiro went to the future and Isaac was dead. Now since Hiro cannot change the past, wouldnt the same apply for the future. If so, doesnt that mean that isaac is going to die. Seems simple enough for me to understand. Good thing though, Next new eps start in january, so not a long wait.
