Claire's mom obviously knew her daughter didn't die... because I assume she knew that Claire had powers... makes you think why she kept quiet all that time.

But Linderman being her father isn't that far off, since it seems like Mr. Bennet works for Linderman, and if he does then maybe Linderman told him to take care of Claire or something to that extent.

Yes but when she told her that she didn't die in the fire, she told her that she had called the right place... I assumed it meant that she realized that it was her kid because she didn't die in the fire, aka survived it, aka with the powers that I would only assume the mom knows about.

It may be due to her mom's powers, that Linderman (assuming he is the dad, and is the boss of Mr. Bennett) wanted their daughter to be raised by someone that would not hurt her (I guess with a mom that causes fires/explosions you would worry for your whole family's sake), so he had Mr. Bennett raise her and just figure she would be better off living with "normal" people (I say normal loosely, we have yet to find out whats the deal with Mr. Bennett, he definately is one of the mysteries of the series-not only about his motives and job, but does he have any abilities, powers?). I definately hate that its only one hour per show, and a week in between, can't wait till next monday, lol.

Actually she meant she called the right place, because Claire was looking for "Mom's name here" , and she had gotten the mom.

1. The mom caused the fire for some reason. To get away from someone?
2. She probably didn't think that Claire would have powers at that time, so she woulda assumed the baby was dead.

Then again, someone coulda kidnapped Claire and faked the death, that's why the mom thought she was dead (look back at #2). But Iono anything, so dun listen to me.

Someone obviously faked the death, because the news reports said that the kid died in the accident, while she clearly didn't...

Now, we know that Claire already died in the present day and was revived once the branch was taken out of her skull, maybe this was similar? They found the kid dead, she revived herself, and then someone snatched her.

So, either this was a plot hole or there was something else keeping the other Heroes from using their powers around Bennet and the Hatian.

I think he just didn't care and let him go, even though he did seem fascinated with his powers.

As far as Matt and his wife, it's so obvious the kid isn't his lol... I don't even know why they added that plot twist in, since no one cares about it anyways.

Seems out of character for Mr. Bennet. He's clearly very dedicated to his goals(whatever those may be), I think if he had his sights on Nathan he wouldn't just let him go on a whim.

I don't think the person that has an ability inhibitor has it on constantly. I think it's something they concentrate on to do. So if they didn't know Nathan was able to fly they wouldn't actively be seeking to stop any of his powers. OR, it's just a mental ability block.

Also I think Claire's mother fucked up and that's how the fire started. I think her powers just started showing up at that time and she endangered herself and her daughter from it. Most likely if she didn't know about her own power she wouldn't have known about her kids. But I also think it's possible/likely that Linderman is the father of Claire and wanted her protected (maybe he knew about her powers, seeing how 2 people with powers have a good/perfect chance of having a kid with powers) so he gave her to a subordinate he could trust.

Actually you're right, I just remembered him running without any clothes, but that's because he was sleeping with Jessica the night before, not because they took him in.

Nevermind, but either way...the second he flew away, they obviously knew about him, and they still hadn't attempted to reach him by any means.

I think Linderman is an evil dude. If he is Clair's father, Mr. Brennet might have wanted to protect her from him(and maybe the Mom too).

Mr. Brennet can't stop powers, I don't think it can get any obvious ;x. He either has no power(which is kind of cool) or he has not used it yet.

In addition, there is a chance that Haitian's power can only be used to stop mental abilities like telepathy.
