As usual, the last five minutes and the trailer for next week is the best part. xD

Hmmm, next week delivers
So.. so far, best episode ever?
At least Nathan didn't have to kill off Simone. We'll leave that to Isaac! Good going, numbnuts.
Sylar is still better than Peter ;o He just needs to get his super hearing under control.
Well, at least Ando didn't die ;o.
lol @ Stan Lee!
YEah, with all the comic book talk that went on, then he appeared.. I was like lolwtfux!
Uhh, Peter just needs to get near Sylar and he gets super hearing too. Peter doesn't have to kill people to absorb, he gets them instantly, that is far better than Sylar. I'm thinking Mohinder will catch on in another week or two that "Zane" is Sylar.Originally Posted by BRP
This was an amazing episode, Peter is the shit but he needs to settle down and be more of the good guy, if he starts to build some rage and then meets Ted the bomb will happen.
Can't wait until next week!
Well maybe now Sylar doesn't kill Isaac
It looks like Peter goes into Sylar mode and kills Isaac out of rage
Also Isaac is wearing the same clothes (right now after killing Simone) he was wearing when he died, when Hiro jumped into the future and found him dead (I think)
So maybe Isaac is next to go?
GOD I just...next week...I'm such a fangirl.![]()
It would appear Sylar needs to use the power near/on Peter before he can steal it(otherwise Peter would know double to triple the amount of powers he knows now). Sure, Peter can use telekinesis, but Sylar can just kill him before he could take any more powers.Uhh, Peter just needs to get near Sylar and he gets super hearing too.
The idea that he can hear people's make-ups(both physical and psychological) from miles away is pretty scary. Let's not forget he has computer-like memory skills and can practically ignore attacks as strong as gun fire. And this is only what we know, he might also be able to freeze people with ease or worse.
Also, he is insane. This is a huge advantage. Peter might be unable to kill anyone willingly, even Sylar. Sylar is a flat out psychopath with great manipulating skills and intelligence.
If Sylar wanted to kill Peter he could. Peter goes invisible, Sylar hears his foot steps. Sylar throws Peter into a wall, maybe breaks a few bones. Peter does the same back, while healing(assuming he has gain mastery of his abilities and its even possible for him to use two powers at once, unlike Sylar who we know can use more than one power at once). Sylar ignores the attack, gets up, gains complete knowledge of Peter's powers by looking at him. From there he either holds anyone hostage to get a clear shot at Peter's head(he reads Peter's fantasy to become a superhero), he finds a weakness in Peter's ability(maybe a giving him a power that would harm/kill him without care: he gives Peter super hearing which distracts him enough to give a clear shot at his brain), or he could just out maneuver Peter... Okay he has telekinesis, so Sylar just freezes him solid before he can realize its happening.
Then Sylar doesn't needs people's brains to steal powers. He can just look at them get them... or "hear" them from miles away and get their powers.
If he had grabbed Eden's power and got Matt's power, he would be on Professor Xavier's scale.
Did I mention he's insane?
Sylar could throw Peter against a wall and then fuse Peter to the wall with his new ZOMG metal-melt/meld powers. It'd be a crazy match up that we probably won't see for a while...but very cool nonetheless.
So far it hasn't been found out of Sylar can learn at all unless he literally digs into someones brain and "sees how it works". I don't know if just hearing is going to make him have the absorbtion ability of Peter.Originally Posted by BRP
The only way anyone can kill Peter is if they kill him instantly. HE CAN STOP TIME. You don't need much else than that if you can fucking stop time. Hiro isn't overpowered because he's a little pussy and he's obviously "unable to kill someone". Peter as shown at the end of last episode might not always have that virtuous self-restraint.
Also we know Sylar has some ability to stop bullets, but he also runs after getting shot. If he was purely invincible from all such forces, why would he run? He has some weaknesses if he's going to run from HRG and the Haitian instead of just kill them (and take The Haitian's power which I'm sure he'd enjoy).
And how much would super hearing do if Peter is invisible and floating? Sylar snuck up on the super hearing lady somehow, so it's not a perfect ability and it is possible to fool it.
Oh and yeah, did you remember this is a show in a nation where the good guy wins 99.9999% of the time? And one more, we know Peter meets Ted at some point, unless he truly has a violent reaction to the radioactive powers (which is possible and could be the actual problem that his body can't work correctly while processing such a power) he can just nuke Sylar. Nuclear force is a bit stronger than bullets, no?
Peter is a good guy, yeah. Unless he is corrupted(doubt it), he still is unable to kill anyone. Messing with a druggy over your girlfriend doesn't put you on a muderer's level. As he is now(which is what I'm going on, because who knows the future), Peter won't nuke Sylar, hell once Peter has Ted's power he'd probably be panicking because he knows what it will make him do. Bringing up what Peter may become is pointless, because I could just say Sylar obtains Issac's future seeing ability. Both things happen in futures that can change.
And Sylar can kill Peter instantly. We've seen him actually cut open people's heads twice. He took his time with Claire's friend either because he was being sick or he was taking precaution with Claire's powers. For Hiro's love interest, her brain was gone in a blink. Once Sylar knows what Peter can do, he won't waste any time killing him. It seemed the last time they met, he didn't even bother reading him.
Sylar has never been bested 1v1, he only flees when he is up against two people(usually people with guns/powers mind you... which makes me wonder, the reason he fled from Matt that one time had more to do with him not wanting his mind read than Matt's gun). I didn't mean he was invincible, but being shot a couple of times and just brushing it off with maybe less than bruises is a lot more amazing than you give it credit. He and Peter fell from the same distance, Peter was almost in pieces and Sylar was only wounded. He could probably survive getting hit by a car going 60. So in a 1v1 battle where he can focus on once source of attacks, his partial invincibility becomes a lot stronger. I'm curious if he obtained the powers of a roach meaning he could suffer lethal wounds(or even partially die) and still live(which is my guess why he was able to come back to life).
About Peter's time control power. That's up in the air in my opinion. Peter doesn't have mastery in any of his abilities at the moment(they just seem to happen), and Time Control is the trickiest power yet. If he is able to master powers, then he will either never master Time Control or it will only be after he masters a ton of other powers.
(When I said Sylar absorbing people powers like Peter, I mean he would obtain that after he killed Peter).
Without super hearing, Sylar hears "what makes people tick". Now his hearing range is miles wide. Those two combine let's him examine everything around him completely.
It seemed to me Peter's gained control over Flying, Invisibility, and Telekinesis at the very least.
Dunno if you read the latest comic, but Sylar got badly wounded by the 3 bullet shot at him. Also, maybe he could have slowed down his fall after falling with Peter using his telekinetic power, could explain why he wasnt hurt.
I'm willing to say that he had to be in danger for any of those to work(or enraged).Originally Posted by Jer
About Sylar's wounds... he seemed pretty okay compared to what normally happens. And something tells me Bennet's gun wasn't that normal... Sylar fucking flew back ten feet and dented a stove or something when he was shot.
I forgot the exact quote but Peter did mention he can sense that he can sense how to control it or something like that. So I'm sure he will be showing off his powers soon (if not from now on) without the need to get emotional about it.Originally Posted by BRP
BTW, we can see why Peter becomes the leader of the group in the future. When Hiro met him in the subway we probably assumed it was because Peter was empathetic and would show good leadership skills. But now we know it's because he's a badass. 8)
Sylar = blue mage FF9
Peter = blue mage FF11 (minus the killing part)
My bro reminded me that what Hiro said in the subway. He said "be the one we need" and not what I was thinking which was that Peter becomes the leader of the gang. Whoops. Hard to remember all the stuff going on.Originally Posted by dietvanillapepsi

BTW, anyone glad to get a break from the Niki and family storyline? Yeah, me too.
(edit: I meant Niki and not Claire in the last paragraph.)
That wouldn't fuse Peter to the wall. More like melt him into bits of shit (which he wouldn't want because then he couldn't capture Peter's brain for analysis).Originally Posted by Lbelle
