About Hearing Power: Rap music seems to be more potent for some reason, which is why the woman listened to it constantly while she used. Sylar has a skill for mastering powers very early on, this one is just really tricky.

About Nikki/Jessica: Did someone say she has no power? Are you out of your mind? She not only has Hulk-Strength, it would appear her power is basically be "the best fighter possible". She has amazing aiming, amazing tactical ability, of course inhuman strength, and is very skilled with martial arts. She's like Captain America or Batman with some super strength. Oh, and she has no remorse while in Jessica-form which is a huge bonus.

I think she has a better chance at killing Sylar than anyone... but that may have changed now that he has super hearing. I'd like to see how she compares with Jew-Router.[/code]

Someone simply chose to misread it and say I was talking about Eden's power, persuasion. I'm not half retarded I wouldn't ever refer to persuasion as "super voice". God.

It's pretty well accepted that Eden knew she couldn't kill Sylar with the gun, so she shot herself in the head so he wouldn't be able to eat her brain or wtf ever it is he does. Sylar did go all crazy voice during the last scene attacking Claire's mom, but it was not clear (like in the scene with Peter) whether or not it did anything at all.

if Peter can obtain others' powers by interacting with them, all he needs to do is to somehow spend a couple hours with Sylar and he will get all Sylar' powers.

The same thing happened with the FBI woman who Matt was helping in like the third episode, way before Sylar even met Eden. He's telekinetic.

He never said "Eden shoot yourself in the head", so he couldn't possibly have been using Eden's power, not to mention the fact that its become pretty obvious that he can't get someone's power while they're alive.

If he had Eden's power, the show would pretty much be over except for when the Haitian was around, or if everyone started wearing earplugs.

The reason she listened to rap music was that was the best thing to block out the other sounds. I would think because of the bass in most rap songs.

It isn't obvious. Even if he's not exploring new powers, seriously if suddenly he lost control and did something new, he would have responded to it. "What the hell was that?" Instead, he treated it like nothing out of the ordinary.

Sometimes, the sound effects people get carried away in dramatizing a scene. They changed his voice to a deep sound when he approached Claire's mom on the floor and all he said was "hi". Also, I think they changed Sylar's voice in Peter's vision while he was being held... where Nathan suddenly changed to Sylar.
