that's how i understood it, they are creating a special task team separate from GMs, in October to manage "Game Irregularities"

Seriously dude, I have a better chance of shitting sorbet than the chance of S-E actually giving half a fuck about what we think of rmt.

IGE stimulates activity in ffxi, if people can't buy gil some won't play. Rmt may be fucked up but it would be poor business practice on S-E's part to get rid of it, monetarily speaking.

These little cons they like us to hear about, 'crackdowns on rmt' 'mule account bans' et cetera are bullshit. They do them to get responses just like this one, to instill hope into the wavering interests of endgamers. I doubt it is even happening, the same gilsellers I have known since rmting got big are still fucking here.

They already banned LS bank using their RMT'ing method. I believe they were all restored, but it show how retarded they can be.

Meh SE will only care about RMT when the legit players leave for other games who are dedicated to fighting it. I find it funny how Blizzard can ban 59,000 accounts who are considered "Gold Farmers" in 1 month and SE has trouble banning any.

Not really. It shows that people aren't ready for the measures SE has to take to deal with RMT's.
