    Smtihing skill up 88+

Hi everyone. I took a lot of time skilling up my Smithing, together with Subcrafts, but I havent crafted for like almost a year. I am totally unaware what works best atm to SKill up/make money of it.

I thought about Farming Pauldrons and desynth them to DS Ingots, but that won't make up for Skill Ups. So what would you suggest if I want to skill up after 88, but not spending like 200k per Synth? Any idead, suggestions?

Look at the new recipes. There are some synths using the new troll items that will take you to 96.

    and smithing sucks.

Now is the best time to lvl up a craft because of the decline of the economy. When I was skilling on adaman ingots, ores were 150k each, now they are 40k each ; ;. Just keep it up, (or quit and make other smithers happy

You can dodge the bullet for a little bit on troll pieces, (although camping the AH for a day for 10 pauldrons and then only getting 2-4 ingots out of them, and then getting zero skill off of those ingots will make you hurt someone) but eventually there's no way to not lose tons of money finishing smithing. But whoever said now is the time to level it is right, adaman is about as cheap as it's gonna get.

Of course, that means everyone and their mother has 100 smithing now so the market is flooded on just about every profit snyth. So... G'luck with making your investment back once you finally hit 100.

This is true on sylph Adaman ingots have hit a low of 70k per ingot...and I remember when I was making them they were selling for 350k per ingot.

Hmmm...that is fine with me. I am not intending to rush to 100 as quick as possible. I am fine with getting like 0.1 once a day max. Just as long as I get Skill ups at all w/o loosing too much money on the Synths

Troll Pauldrons go for 1k on our Server and Vambrace goes for 1-2k. So I dont make any loss at all. Because one Troll Ingot itself goes for 20k, but since I keep them for Skill up its just fine^^
I just got 2 Troll Ingots out of 7 Pauldrons. So not too bad.

Lol...I am desynthing Troll Items to Troll Ingots a lot. I get all Vambraces I can get usually and get myself Image Support. With +2 in Equip and the Image Support I usually get 4/6 HQ Desynths. The only thing that sucks is...not many Jadagna-1 are sold on the Server...usually have to Camp the AH to get 1 or 2 per day. Thats why I keep on skilling with Relic Iron and Adaman as well, as long as I don't lose too much money on the Synths.

From 88 to 90 I skilled up on adaman ingots and just stock piled them for making possibly cursed gear and/or adaman/gem gear.

I've made a few cursed items, sometimes they sell quickly, sometimes they don't, but i didnt lose much money on them, maybe like 20k or something.

Never really tried the troll ingots though, ill have to check that out.

My plan atm is to do some cursed feet and heads til like mid 90s and then maybe either do adaman/gem gear or if i have a lot of money, just do culverins.

    I hate smithing.

I am lvling my smithing sub, and i get better skill up rates at 90+ goldsmithing than i do in the mid 50s smithing.
