yes it is, but if thats why i was banned, a GM would have notified me about it, so thats not why i was banned, and honestly how many people have or gave ur ID to someone else? i know a ton of people who have, bought accounts is sharing information, bazaaring is against ToS aswell but you dont see people getting banned for that. Banning me for sharing account info is a poor excuse

If you wanna find out why you were banned, talk to the guy who has your info. If he says he never logged onto your account and/or never POS/flee hacked on it, then either he's lying, you're lying, or SE decided to ban you for sharing account info. It may be stupid, it may not have happened to anyone else, but if its against the ToS, its completely 100% fair, and there's not really anything you can do about it.

Maybe he did it on his account, and they're linking the IPs that way.

Just as a reference, some schools and homes use one internet IP and have many different internal IPs. There is nothing wrong with you and another family or friend logging in from the one location on two accounts which would look like it's coming from the same IP. For this reason there's nothing SE can do about it, unless they caught the accounts together cheating and detected that they were on the same IP and/or controlled by the same person.

No idea who's banned from Carbuncle this time, but last time our RMT crew that killed Jorm/Tiamat back to back was completely banned. That was really nice to see, seeing as how many people were fed up about them on our server.

It's hard to keep track of the different crews now since they level so fast, but it's nice to see SE doing something.

The RMT that get banned will just level more characters named Wlkljafdaj to 75 BLM in like a month or so. Banning them doesn't do too much. However banning the non-RMTers that bot/hack probably will make them not come back, or they will just buy someone else's 75 account. This isn't a solution, its a band-aid. Solves nothing in the long run.
