Also, a few of us in my anime club found some ISOs of the doujin game Melty Blood a few years ago and it works fine on all the computers we tried it on.

I've been addicted to this for the past 3 days, now. I can get to stage 6 now on no continues on Normal. I tried insane, and it made me feel worthless ;_;

This game does kinda make you feel better about your skills at bullet hells than most other games, especially if you use the first set of characters - their collision boxes are TINY.

As awesome as these games are, everyone has to try cave story (english patch gogo). One of the best platformer metroidvania type games made.

I have that game. I don't remember where I found the torrent for it, but the download doesn't take too long. Nothing close to Guilty Gear, but it's still a blast. The characters are 'meh' though.

uTorrent allows you to download specific files out of a torrent btw. I finished it in like a half hour. Although a direct download might be nice too.

if you play the game (IN) in windowed mode you should be able to play ffxi as well, if it goes in fullscreen it'll cancel out FFXI, I didn't play FFXI windowed (alt tab fullscreen onry) so I dunno if it'll work otherwise, in general though keep it windowed and it'll be fine

ok that extra level is FUCKING sick. I had to ive up on trying to kill stuff and just dodge bullets.

I find the parts with normal enemies harder the bosses usually, it's too much to try kill like 4 monsters and bullet dodge at the same time, and bosses have that little counter at the bottem that tell you where they are so you can focus largely on dodging

The extra stage makes me sad. I got to the long part of the boss. And keep dying. And dying. And dying. And god she has some horribly cheap spell cards.

Oh, and how do you run this windowed? I've only been playing at 3am, after all my partying is done, and keep forgetting to try to find that option.
