Well, those cases that you see are probably especiialy bad. Basically, if you KNOW you are bitten by something that may have been a recluse, go to the fucking hospital immediately... they will probably inject steroids in the location and cut off the infected skin. nope, they told me if it gets ANY worse I need to go directly to the emgency room, and I have a good chance of loosing my toe plus they put me on an IV for like 4 hours..

There was a shot of that guy on the boneyourmother site once he got to the hospital. His tounge was hanging out and everything. I can see how he'd live through that.. but the reconstruction of his skull would be a loooong process.
