    More upcoming job changes (not from Fanfes)

    Sorry if this has been posted in another thread. This is written in a hurry.

    NB: Due to time constraint I will only highlight some changes.

    - New BLU magic that are equivalent to Cure II and V;
    - BLU AF gloves would have more significant results on magic learning;
    - New roll for COR;
    - RDM Paralyze II will have higher proc rate than Paralyze I. However, if you only invest 1 upgrade to Paralyze II, its accuracy will be lower than Paralyze I.
    - SMN Lv.75 BP damage are intentionally lowered; development are currently considering to adjust this.
    - WAR tomahawk will work like WHM's Banish, in the sense that it will lower specific weapon resistance of monsters. The difference is, the monster doesn't need to be undead.
    - Holy II and Banish IV will not be merit point abilities. They would be added as magic scroll [if they will be added at all].

    ・獣のKインスティクトのひるむ確立はサークル系のアビと一緒
    ・侍の正々堂々は効果を見直す
    ・詩人のラプマズはストライダーと同じ速さ
    ・狩のフラッシショットのレベル差補正カットはおなつよを相手にしたときと同じになるわけでは ない
     相手のレベルが高いとある程度の補正がかかるがそれがなくなるだけ
    ・竜のアンゴンはアシッドボルトより効果が高い
    ・召還士の新履行は威力を抑え目にしてある。相当命中率がよくレンジも広い。修正は必要かなと 思っている

    Kinda hard to determine without a full translation, but I think they're either alluding to the idea that they'll just be added as normal spells. They could also be responding to a question maybe.

    Who knows, but I'd like some other tools to double-burst on Light/Fusion.

    I read that as if they mean Holy2/Banish4 will be added and you won't need merits to get them, Like Abs TP and Raptor Maz

    I'd still like them to give PLD shell4 at level 75.

    What it means is:

    "Automaton-like movement addition is not practically simple."

    So it's most probably related to automatons and their attachments.

    EDIT: Although upon re-reading, you seem to have figured that out on your own lol.

    I'll try and translate some of these, but my Japanese is slow and I'm at work, so I'll just edit the post as I get time to translate them. If someone else beats me to doing it, I won't really mind. :b

    Apologies in advance if I translate something wrong, my Japanese isn't excellent by any means.

    Going from the top:
    Blue Mage
    • Blue Mage's power, accuracy, and learning success will be affected by their Blue Magic skill.[/*:m:ecbb1]
    • Equipment that raises accuracy will not raise attack power?[/*:m:ecbb1]
    • Ridill will not be equippable. It is not about Ridill, but [something about one-handed swords intended for BLU][/*:m:ecbb1]
    • We want to add Cure II and V level Blue Magic spells.[/*:m:ecbb1]
    • The "Increases Chance to Learn Blue Magic" on AF has been strengthened.[/*:m:ecbb1]


    Corsair
    • Adding a new Phantom Roll.[/*:m:ecbb1]
    • As for the AF hat's "Enhances 'Quick Draw' Effect", basically damage up.[/*:m:ecbb1]


    Puppetmaster
    • The job's usefulness seems weak, but the concept is good.[/*:m:ecbb1]

    New Abilities

    • RDM's Paralyze II has a higher proc ratio, Slow II can overwrite enemy Haste with enough merits.[/*:m:ecbb1]
    • Weak tier II enfeebles are as strong as perfectly stuck tier I ones, but the accuracy is lower.[/*:m:ecbb1]
    • When tier 2 Ancient Magic merits are added, power and accuracy increase. Power increases only on MB.[/*:m:ecbb1]
    • Tomahawk's Special Defense down is like Banish. It will reduce resistance to types of physical attacks, except it works on mobs other than undead.[/*:m:ecbb1]
    • Diabolic Eye ability for DRK - Increases accuracy. The numerical value is a secret, but it's higher than Peacock Charm and Optical Hat.[/*:m:ecbb1]
    • Beastmaster's Killer Instinct ability will be able to be used at the same time as the "Circles"[/*:m:ecbb1]
    • Samurai's Overwhelm effect will be looked at again.[/*:m:ecbb1]

    • I think this point refers to two RNGs doing Flashy Shot at the same time. Not exactly sure what it's saying.[/*:m:ecbb1]
    • Dragoon's Angon will be stronger than Acid Bolt.[/*:m:ecbb1]
    • Summoner's new BP's power is controlled. The range of them is wide to create a suitable accuracy ratio (mobs not being too far away). We will think about whether a change is needed.[/*:m:ecbb1]
    • I think this says "the accumulative magic resistance was implemented to prevent so many BLMs crowding together." From now on big adjustments won't be made.[/*:m:ecbb1]
    • Merit point item limits are not raised, but the upper limit on the category will be raised. Limit of 5 for the final merit items is assumed.[/*:m:ecbb1]

    Heres some of the stuff I read:

    Blue magic skill will effect learning and stuff more.
    Blue mages will get a cure 3 and 5 (OP says 4 but that is wrong)
    Something about quick draw on Cor AF will increase damage.
    BLM am2 points will increase the damage and acc and boost MB (I dunno if itll boost both(am and regular) but it might)
    Diabolic Eye will get more accuracy
    Some more stuff about killer circle moves
    Brd's raptor mazurka and striders will be made the same.
    Something about RNG and flashy shot and alot of kanji I dont know
    Something about angon and acid bolt increase
    Something about skill increase and group category (maybe merits? If so yes please!!!!!)


    Ok so can we get a real translator here?

    Well, at least they realize Heavenly Strike and Grand Fall suck. Hope this means they'll make them better, now.

    I don't get the point of saying this. "...axe throwing will work..."? Axe throwing is already in, and already does reduce damage resistance.

    That could be a very good thing. I've noticed that if I'm lacking in acc gear/food ect my physical skills will do less damage at times even though they do hit. I guess they used the physical acc stat in some sort of magical accuracy equasion for physical BLU mage spells.
    As long as Sneak Attack continues to stack, I'll take this as good news.

    Blu Spell Dmg, Acc and learning success depends on Blu Skill
    Equipment that increase acc does not affect the damage of blu spell
    blu cannot equip ridill
    blu equivalent of cure 2 and 5 will be added into consideration
    Blu AF that gives learning success up will be corrected more

    Cor
    New phantom roll added
    AF hat quick draw effect will give damage up

    Pup
    PUP Jse will be added

    New Abi
    rdm's para2 will have more proc rate
    slow2 can over write mob's haste depending on level merited
    lvl1 tier2 enfeeble will have lesser acc than tier 1 enfeeble but it's stronger than tier 1
    ancient2's dmg up is shown only during mb
    war's tomahawk has the same ability with whm's banish spell and can be use on mob other than undead

    Theres more after the "Blue cant get ridill" part that was left out... I think it says the intended limit was with one hand or something? -.-
