I havent played myself VP2 (is it even out?), but I only recently played VP1 because it was released on PSP just few months ago.
Even if not a fan of time based games, this game is a must play at least once, if only for the combat system. Garantee it'll take you a good hour before you grasp completely how it works, it's crazy fun! Really unique system. It's kinda like.. Turn-based gang bangs.
Oh, and if you want full enjoyment, play on Hard. Might sound stupid, but Easy mode is actually harder, because less time to finish the game, less dungeons, less characters, less good items, and you dont get the best ending

This game is one of the few that gaining levels mean actually very little after you learned the important skills. I got characters level 40 that outdamage my lev 99s >.>
