Well, I doubt many people have tried making a pentasphere after winning.

It's funny because when I was on my way to romaeve to make the sphere I was lecturing a young'n about making real sure he picks an earring he'll be happy with forever.

I'd be content with just swapping earrings, but in the rare event that SE has given us the ability to equip 2, that would be fucking awesome.

I don't get anything from the ??? in Ruavitau, well it's actually not a ??? it's just a nothing that you can target... but yeah didn't get anything. If somebody wants to throw their earring to test if they get a cs be my guest.

This alone should tell you you're not getting a 2nd earring whether or not you threw away your first one.

I don't want to shatter your dreams but you can ALWAYS make an ark pentasphere and you always get that message. If you couldn't then failing DM would shut you out of an earring forever.

It's a quest apart from the missions themselves, that the quest can take place in stead of the mission is a bonus but in the end it's a non-repeatable quest for an earring. Quest ends, you can repeat the fight, but not obtain another earring unless Yve'noile herself says you can.

Now you just need to get some BLMs and burn it, and have them join the test if they want to also. Hurry hurry!

My friend tried DM with 15 blm's recently. He was pissed because they couldn't even kill the taru, much less any of the other ones.

He won't get the message about the shards if he lost then got another pentasphere, since he wouldn't even have the shards if he did the DM quest in place of ZM14.

CoP ring is actually a mission reward. DM is a quest that supercedes the ZM14 mission; and you cannot redo missions.
