Worst equipped melee/mage

Well I joined my LS before they went HNM and my level was fine then. They always give me shit about leveling which I'm trying to do now since we've started HNMs. Only 3ish rdm in my LS too.

rank 10 pld (level 50), using a merc kris, always flashing for hate, still not holding it vs a mnk and war at same level, claiming that kris > sword (yay 1 per hit), combined with teh brd that had an nq cornette, no +chr gear (mithra), except maybe rse body, and couldn't sleep a damn thing.

i think in 2 hours they got 3k with a ring. I died twice. +800 for the day go~

The pld, yeah...WTF, the brd though...thats an mp build brd for that lvl.

I'm going to assume that with a lv50 melee, you were xping on Helm Beetles.

Next time, if you want your bard to be more than a minuet and ballad whore, bring a bard whos properly lvled, not someone whos 12-15 lvls below the mob level. I'm sure that gearset of theirs works perfectly when they arent being asked to severly overhunt for their current level, and even if they did have top notch gear, overhunting for 12-15 levels would still produce a decent amount of resists.

The amount of chr needed on a brd is very minimal or at least that's what I've discovered so far at low levels I use a corsette+1 on my brd that's about the same lv as that one and the resist rate on elegy and lullaby is once per 3 hours.
Complaining about somone not having an overabundance of a stat that does shit is just being stupid. Would you like to bitch about drk not wearing +mnd gear during guillotine next?

I was sleeping things 9-10 levels over me with little resists as a mithra BRD running a manaburn static, so no, there is no excuse.

9-10 lvls over is the same as 12-15 lvls over, right ??

No, but with no RDM I was enfeebling the mobs just fine.

At level 47, overhunting on mobs that are 12-15 levels over you, without a rdm, I'll assume a bard atleast, though 1mp/tick wont cut it, you were able to debuff mobs and heal the entire party while being able to manage your mp ?? Oh, and to top it off, I'm going to presume since pretty princess whm here had to debuff mobs, it must have been a pld tank, since a nin would debuff the mobs themselves with more potent debuffs and extra hate.

Doesn't matter if you've got an Astral Earring or a Beetle Earring, level 11 feet or RSE, or whatever. You can't get much more gimp than nq cornette onry.

I don't see any point in this argument.

Just someone being hyper critical because ZOMG they don't have the bestestest equipment at lvl....47...god forbid they have to go buy a +1 everytime they ding. See now if they were wearing lvl1 rse, and not even wearing any feet gear...yes, gimp. But no they look fine.

And to be honest, elphaba argument is pretty weak, because every piece of equip seems to be on par or slightly less for an MP build brd. And as far as instrument...it wouldn't matter unless you happen to know if they have their singing and wood/wind skills capped...which at that lvl...ha.

Instruments matter if you want to be a half-decent bard and apart from Mary's Horn and Military Harp, not one of them 'til level 50 is over 20k. Not having appropriate instruments is gimp. End of story, bring in the next gimp.
