Um..I hate to say it, but if you upgrade the weapon to Impact Knuckles, that gear would be perfectly acceptable for someone on their first job. Could get some earrings too though, and change to /war...but what else could he wear in other places ??

Get an extra STR on his rings (though if he cant afford Puissance's, he wont gain anything), Brown Belt might be out of his reach pricewise, theres no really worthwhile ranged or back pieces (maybe his RSE sachet for ranged, but if thats indeed his first job, I highly doubt he could solo it).

Other than that yeah you're mostly right. However "improve the weapon" is generally the first thing even newbies know to do from the get go.

Go back to 2005 if you think STR is the end-be-all stat in this game.

And I dont think a first job lv40 can efficiently solo RSE keys. Those mobs range from 26-38 (Gusgen), 29-35 (Ordelles), 27-35 (Shakrami).

Though I did get the races mixed up (brainfart thoght he was the elvaan), and his RSE sachet is useless for his job. Thus, there is no acceptable ranged or ammo piece that he can use that will benefit his job, except maybe a Happy Egg if he got one from that 2 year old event roffles.

was a rep to the pty, the hands and legs only have defense, earrings are +2 agi, and ring is bastok ring.

this was only gear this rdm had, along with some loveydovey bazaarmsg for whoever got her the opaline body. was maincuring and people didn't die though, so w/e. still sad they wear opaline and no waist full time and no electrums that lvl.

They were. The problem was that he could barely hit without Sneak Attack, which I think is the reason he was subbing THF in the first place. He rarely got over 100 with SA+Backhand Blow, though.
