Turban is gimp but I don't have that much against a gigant, it's a ton of hp. It's not bad if youre a taru; there's not alot for the back that is really amazing.

Yeah this isn't exactly the gimpiest blm ever. I don't recall this thread being 'hey look at this one piece of gear he's wearing that doesn't make sense.'

Pretty sure he has those HQ gloves on because they're signed by him. Other than that I think he uses those to run around instead of running with Dusk gloves on. Town gear for sure (and possibly some parts WS).

stun isnt something i use often enough. when I solo, I rely mostly on gravity.

No meat-eating monk will ever get 92% accuracy with str rings... so you need the snipers rings. Also, 4 str doesnt give you about 8 attack with all the modifiers, you'd be telling me alky brcs are better to melee than o kote,(yeah right lolol).

Oh and a monk that eats sushi just plain sucks

Bring me one parsing of both and we will figure out how much atk it is for mnk then.


5str ring is still better than 5 atk on assaillant ring when you tp. I was more under the impression it was the -7 dex on alk that nullifie the bonus from. (close to -1% crit, and -1-2%acc)

Dig up the parse from Aurik on KI from Alky versus Okote? That is what you wanted a parse about right? The result was close and a wee bit in favor of the Okote. Considering we are only talking Temple Gloves here with STR+4 and not STR+11 like Alky's they are clearly no match for the Okote.

As for the Okote vs SH thing, well others already said it, it's just a bad decision picking SH over Okote. Not earth shattering. But look at it like this, for both slots you got a "freeby" option, the AF. SH over Temple Cyclas will show less than Okote over Temple Gloves. Seeing how SH and Okote are around the same price on most servers it's really a choice coming down to: wanna boost your dmg by alot (Okote) or by a bit (SH).

If it's a SH from your other job the point is sorta moot of course, does make me wonder if you got 2-3mil for a SH why you couldn't get another 2-3mil for some Okote, especially in the timespan of 34 to 66 which this monk is, but maybe that's just me.

3 + (h2hskill / 10) + Weapon Dmg

I thought it was redefined to (h2h skill*0.11) + weapon damage?

It actually is Ridill... To my knowledge no one has bought that acct, he just got Armada Hauberk like 2 months or so ago. Remember hearing about him crafting his own Armada. No idea why the heck his gear is like that though... Given, I cant really say I am in the loop of 100 JP/TW/Whatever crafters selling there accts.

LoL yea Hao is a wierd guy he is 100+3 smithing and crafted his own armada, and yes that is a ridill. He has some great gear I guess he just decided to put on some WTF stuff.
