the cuir gear is kinda shitty, but you're ragging on a corsair, someone who uses RANGED ATTACKS for having a nomads mantle, and his belt. Can you find a better belt for corsairs at 40 ?

I'll freely admit I know nothing about corsair. I unlocked it about a month after ToAU came out and haven't touched it since.

So I gotta ask, based on my knowledge of RNG, how does VIT help a corsair?

Come on, wearing Genin with /WHM is pretty bad. Not nearly as bad as the 75DRK who I partied with who wore two lvl 30 latent earrings (neither of which appropriate for his sub) and Scythe Belt while subbing DRG and using a Scythe that was a special day...

MNK/BLM is completely understandable... /WHM is not. Your example describes someone leaving town, therefore no longer town gear. If you're doing things and using /WHM for the sole purpose of sneak/invis when you can just as easily buy oils and powders and use a useful subjob, then somethings wrong. And don't get this the wrong way, but I don't think at 40COR he's going to be running around doing any pretty hard quests where he can laughably sub WHM (i.e. if he was 75 and was doing AF or something).

Edit: I'm by no means bagging the sub job of WHM for his COR, just the conjunction of that with his Genin earring.. Just to reiterate if I wasn't clear.

Why the fuck would you buy and use oil to sneak around (getting cutscenes, for example) when you can sub whm? For all we know he's off to hit a ??? somewhere in an area where no subjob could possibly contribute to his survival, but sneak will save him money in oils.

In fact, for the sake of argument, I dont think his SJ is whm. He's lv40 and not using AF weapon, which is better than what he has equipped. For all I know, he could be on his way to Arrapago to get his AF cutscene and subbed whm for sneak.

Did you happen to check the zone hes in? Besieged ever cross your mind, obviously a lvl40 cor isn't going to be able to hit any of those mobs. Next best thing to get exp/sp is to cure people.

As for beseiged, why are you going to beseiged as level 40? Sure you can cure people, but if you're doing Besieged on a 40COR to get xp, and you think the 1000xp/hr of work is worth it, then be my guest. But yeah, he's in whitegate so I don't think that's his intention.

They had roughly 30 people (lots not seen in that SS) they wiped after first hades. Then they sac'd it for 10 minutes for raise / weakness, then they faught it for another hour in which it droped another 3-5% wiped again, then just rinse and repeat untill about 11% when they just gave up.

JP ls's ftw on Shiva. Over all 4 hours+ wasted at a Cerb and prolly -20k exp per person, I saw at least 10 perma Dlvl's ^^

As opposed to sitting lfp not doing anything while a besieged is going on, getting 0k/hr? Or 1k/hr is a bad thing when you only have an hour to play before an LS event/work/logging off, when you don't have time enough to lfp, get an invite, and get some xp without being one of those 30-minute xp party jerks? Nobody seriously does besieged exclusively for xp. It's no wonder someone got "fired up" enough to make an account to respond to you.
