sometimes though, just for fun, i take off all my equipment until i have equal stat bonuses, then when someone complains i explain i'm up to par with the other member(s).

If a RDM is pulling hate with or without that hat, there is a problem. But yeah, enmity+ on mage gear is stupid.

What else would a low level rdm use for headgear? MP hairhips? After 1-2 spells, it's useless. As long as the tank doesn't suck, +2 emnity on a rdm isn't that bad. If the pt has a pld tank that knows how to use flash, hate holding shouldn't be that hard. I just hope the rdm knows about macro swaps.

And for people who partly with people like Lyon and Sapphireli, why doesn't anyone boot them on sight? While perfect gear isn't demanded, gear that doesn't suck ass should be demanded.

We're pting in Mamook, of course when you're nose to nose with a Sea Puk or Watch Wyven you're not paying so much attention to what your mages look like. Until I see this:

Blessed Hammer and a Holy Shield used for curing at 75.

I went back and checked the log and his cures were never stronger than that. Checking his gear ddnt come up with anything better, the only thing he had over 40 was a Blessed Briault. NO LIGHT STAFF and somehow this whm is at 75. He wasnt even a LS mate of anone there, he was just some random WHM who REALLY REALLY sucked. I really hate pt leaders who dont have standards.
