The gear is either too good or too bad to be a gil seller.

I think the primary failing in that picture is that it is set in Bibiki Bay and not somewhere in ToAU zones.

It's sad that this character keeps popping up in my exp parties.

Over the course of a 2-hour party he managed to parse a whopping 10% of the damage. A thief did nearly triple his damage, with the ninja not far behind. Ranger did something obscene like 35%.

At least he's found San d'Oria conquest points gear, but fuck, a dark knight parsing 10% is pretty damn gimp.

I think Bibiki Bay is just their catch-all zone for anything 60+. Around Christmas time I was working on NIN and BLU, and saw the same alliance leveling from when they were level 60 and no one wearing AF (including two galka PLD with zero AF), and I think last I saw this past weekend they were 75s and probably still in Bibiki Bay.
