Was in a pt on my WAR earlier....our rdm converted, and I was wondering why their MP pool was so impressively low for a hume (I remember having much more as an elf at that level)..../check, and .____.

Why do people exp with players outside of their own LS anymore? i know im taking chances every time i seek, so all i do now is ask people in LS chat if they wanna exp. Not saying im elitist and i think only the people in my own LS have good gear, but normally if you arent in an endgame shell or you havent done some form of endgame, your gear is gonna fucking blow.

This pt actually did really well, but our whm (at the start at least...leader kicked him after repeated requests to paralyna/poisona/buff our tank when he apparently went afk w/out notice, got a 2nd rdm and kept going)

I was in a RD/DB/PR/BS pt the other day on my 65 war after that pt with the mnk I posted. Uh, but yeah. It sucks trying to xp non 75 jobs these days, almost every pt is horrible. It was nice getting people from different endgame shells together for a good party.

As for merit pts, I usually stick within my linkshell, even though I rarely merit.

Just saw this winner passing through the Dunes.

I won't even mention the DRG in 3 pcs of level one gear, NIN with level one Katanas, and plenty of other awesome players I'm running across getting DRK to 37.

I was pretty lucky taking RDM 70-75.. but wow.. prior to that I can't even stand exping. So many terrible players, poor tanks, poor DD etc. Makes me wonder if I can even stand ever leveling another job after RDM.. lol.

Um, yeah, SAMs need some accuracy, believe it or not. Agreed on the wut with the level 7 arrows, and the +3 str ring is a little lame, but otherwise his gear is fine. Totally not what this thread is about, please see Sonomaa's 87 point text a page or two ago.

I agree that his gear is very meh. Point is he can still get by in an xp party without it being completely like you're fighting with 5 people. Needs a lot of work, but he's on the right track, so to speak. Has some STR, has some ACC, has some ATK. No Brutal or AF+1 body? Not everyone has Sea. Maybe he's only been playing for six months? No Togi = doesn't have a sky shell. The title of the thread isn't "hay let's pick on this guy for having cheap gear," it's

I don't see a Wing Pendant or a Hara-ate. Don't see a level 35 GK. Don't see DEX rings or MP earrings. This thread is about people wearing things that just boggle the mind. Melees in INT gear and mages in AGI gear. Level 30 quest items and AF1 weapons in merit parties. Likewise, people wearing all NQ gear with a Peacock Charm and a stage 4 relic would arouse suspicion. Reveal the idiots of the world for what they are. The people that really don't get it.

And I still say that the WHM with an Animator wins the thread.

You took the words right out of my mouth. I mean if he fully exp'd in level 14 Dex+ 1 rings and his empress band, or used his AF weapon still, that'd be gimp. Saying he needs a Shura Togi, AF+1 Body(lol) and Brutal? Yeah. I'm sure if he didn't have sea, he'd get right on that Brutal. I wish I could find pics of this SAM that became legendary in a party I was in about a year ago. His name was Duck and he was in the Citadel, at level 35, using the Katayama Ichimonji. Yes, that level 10 GK off of Carnero, the level 10 NM in South Gustaberg. Also had DEX rings and, well, not much else. To this day, the people that were there don't /duck, they /"The Duck."

Actually, I did see him a couple of months ago, he was in his 60's and was wearing some sort of 30's armor. Keeping the legend alive!

I think this 100 page thread lost the jist of that on page 2. I'd be willing to bet that if I grabbed all the screenies which met the criteria, this thread would be 3-4 pages (less derails/babbling nonsense).
