You know how sometimes when you're running along, you see someone that's lagging, or you're lagging, and they run, stop, zooom ahead, stop, zoom etc...

If not for the things that make pos possible, every time that happened your character would have to go back to where you stopped on everyone else's screen.

There's potential ways around it, but they all either suck or wouldn't stop it in the end.

POS exploits shoddy programming in the tele-mea crystal. The tele platform used to be in a slightly different place before a certain patch. When they moved it they didn't change the offset, instead when you zone in you come in the old place and then you're moved. Certain JPs figured out how to use this to allow themselves to go whereever they wanted. It was created to get up the mountain in Attowah and Ule. In other words, CoP invetned MrArgus. Add that to its list of wonderful contributions to the game.

Thanks for reminding me of the horrors in the ytmnd.com forums.
