I'm on Gilgamesh and its always been my understanding Ostrea has capped gil on more than one char, several 100 crafts, etc or so the legend goes. Anything rare on AH is usually bought by him and certain expensive stackable items would be listed and bought by himself just to have the solitary listing.

I don't think he ever takes that long to upgrade a relic item and its more or less a case of what do you buy in a game when you've bought everything else.

No? When my dagger isn't in my inventory the Goblin has no idea who the fuck I am. Does this somehow change when you complete a relic? I'd assume not since you can upgrade other weapons, though.

Yeah the rumour is that he has capped/a lot of gil on other characters, so when the deflation happened he became instantly richer. Not sure what dynamis currency is at now, but it was dropping last time I checked.

I think every piece of Ostreas is for show. I don't remember ever seeing Ostrea fight a king or world HNM. (Note: doesn't mean he/she doesn't)

I actually think it would be cool to add a "Final Relic" lol, you obtain it by trading in all other completed relics, and it's all weapon types and all damage types, and gives access to every WS and has every aftereffect, equippable by any job 75.
