I dont think theres many, its just that the few people that are, are open about it. Just like the right/left handed poll. It looked like everyone was left handed by reading that topic but the poll looked normal.

It's true, but ratio of left handed on this board was still bigger than it should have been according to normal stats. In this case, gay/straigth ratio sound about right with stats you normally hear (5%).

Well, there was some research a while back that suggested that self-identified homosexuals tend to have a higher average IQ than the general populace, so it would be conceivable that gay folks would just be slightly more interested in video games and such leading to a slightly higher concentration. (Most people cite 1-3% from a study in the early 90's, but there were many problems with their research methods.) As for possibly explanations for the IQ, it may be that homosexuals with higher IQs are more likely to come out or even be honest on surveys, differential death rates, or the simple fact that you are gay makes you better than everyone else. :D

PS. I think the true rate of homosexuality/bisexuality is much higher that people are willing to admit on surveys. Too many closet cases out there otherwise.

If you really think you being gay leads to being a better person, then why don't you go donate some sperm to pass along your supposedly "better" genetic material to future generations? Gay people do think their gayness is a genetic inherited trait from what I understand. If you wanted to pass along that superior genetic material you have, then all you have to do is head to your sperm bank and beat off to some gay porn and blow your load into a cup. Just like that and you will have a little bit of you in the future. I would question someone's sanity and their intelligence if they think their sexual preference has anything to do with being "better" than someone else.
