Again, I must disagree. Okami takes things from Zelda time and time again, and by take I don't mean that it is only influenced by Zelda, I mean it blatantly rips it off. Rainbow bridge is the first example that pops into my head. Hi, OOT. Granted, the people that made Minish Cap worked on Okami (I believe), there is no reason for the Okami developers to lack the creativity in order to make up their own ideas.Originally Posted by Caocao

If you're talking graphics by "old and busted" I could say yes and no. Windwaker was the last console Zelda game, and it was gorgeous. Every aspect of it was amazingly done, the cell shading really was the shit.
Okami is a completely different style of artistry, that is itself phenominal. I could just stare at Okami for hours and never get bored with the amount of detail put into the game, but it never makes the cell shaded style of WW look old or busted.
If you're comparing Okami graphics with that of Zelda for the N64, then just...lol.
I'm an avid Zelda fan, and I love Okami, but I just found too many times thinking "lol zelda!" while playing. Absolutely nothing wrong with that though, I'd play a great zelda ripoff game anyday of the week before a different epic adventure game that sucks. But Okami can't beat Zelda...nothing can beat Zelda.
