What direction do you face for T0s?

Do you face west when you're rolling a dice ?? I face north west, I tend to get better luck that way. When I'm playing poker, I must be facing south, if I'm not facing south, I'll get shitty cards every time. But if I'm facing south, OH SHIIIIT hide your wallet son.

Random number generators are not truly random and can be easily influenced by any number of factors that the programmers want. Direction, last digit in your gil, elemental resistance, third letter in your name, number of deaths, presence of subligars, signet/sanction, etc could easily (but do not) cause slight changes to the way pseudo-random numbers roll if the generator is programmed that way. We have no clue how the generator is really programmed, so we cannot say with any certainty what if any factors contribute to the pseudo-random number generator.

Except for the fact, as stated above, the developers already said it doesn't matter. :/

I'm not saying that these factors do matter, I am soing that unlike real life they could matter if a devloper wanted them to.

I'd take a vague consensus from superstitious pre-teen gamers over SE statements anyday. Not that I prefer it, but its the more credible of the two evils.

If I recall correctly, it was at the fan festival in Long Beach, CA around the release of CoP I think... Anyhow it went something along the lines of:

How did anyone take that as specific confirmation that "SE said direction doesn't matter."? 0-0
If anything, it builds an entirely new rumor that some synths are affected by direction and some aren't.

Ever notice how many of the guild item seller and advanced support guys are positioned so when you talk to them you're often facing the "correct" way to synth with crystals often used by that guild?

This is kind of interesting. I know that the Bonecraft GP guy faces SE, which is supposedly the direction of earth crystals which are used a lot. How many of the other guilds are like this?
