I just started installin ffxi today on a new pc and 1 of my installation disk's doesnt work <disk #2 the one with the sandy flag on it> i was wondering if any1 could upload disk #2 for me or send it to me somehow i tried gettin the torrent but it gives me all 5 cd's and it takes fucking forever to download.

With a program such as BitComet, you can choose which files from a torrent to download. Just deselect the images from the other CDs and you'll only get the one you want.

I was going to do this once but there is always the possibility that some kind of worm could be planted in it and your account can become compromised. If you have anything to lose you may be better off just buying the CD's again.

This is why we have this amazing tool called a virus scanner

This is a known problem, some CD drives don't install right on disk 2.

You need to get another drive and try it again. Just go a buy a cheap one at best buy then return it.
