Apparently, Crimson Howl overwrites Warcry. Warcry duration already exceeds that of Crimson Howl, but perhaps exceeding it... more will allow it to overwrite?
Oh, I'm sorry, I thought Crimson Howl was 45 seconds. Shows how often you see that pact used currently.

Maybe Crimson Howl overwrites Warcry because it can never be worse than Warcry. At best, Warcry is equal to Crimson Howl in strength. However, Warcry can be worse (e.g. /WAR37 vs WAR75). So Crimson Howl will always give either the best bonus, or at least the same bonus, and therefore the game has it overwrite Warcry for that reason.

It sounds like the kind of logic SE would use, yes :/

Summoning Torque went from 5,000 to 1,000,000 in less than six hours on Midgardsormr. Dammit all to hell.

Dbox cycles are your friend. 8 in dbox, 1 in inventory... and I think there might actually be another 3 that were in rotation... not sure if those are lost in space after I deactivate though.

    Yes, they most definately are.
No, they are not. I have yet to lose a Bloodpact where my avatar was paralyzed and I was not. Bear in mind, paralyze is not the same as stun, sleep or petrify (which will all interrupt an avatar's Bloodpact).
I'm certain I've had it happen. I'll try to make it happen and get a screenshot.

Simple, go fight slimes in Dynamis-Sandy and get your PT + Leviathan paralyzed. That's how I found out the BP interruption thing last time.

Paralyze does not stop Avatar from BPing, only if YOU are paralyzed when you execute the command, hello Byakko, Seiryu (where you learn this).

This person is correct. Cerberus also works, as it's possible to be in Assault/Bloodpact range of him and not in Ululation range.

My summoner would like to point and laugh at you because she won't main heal your sorry ass. GFY.
Hey, I wanted to be a SMN, I really did. But only a sado-masc could put up with the party invite process. It was the entire week with my flag up all night every night that did it in for me. That was at 50 and I have got to 52 on scrolls. I don't plan on going 23 more levels soloing bombs either. I didnt buy the stuff with the intention of cashing in, but only an idiot wouldnt go for the easy money.

Almost every party I've had on SMN since 48 I've made myself and they normally end up being 5-7k an hr, without empress. If the right jobs arent seeking don't make a party and waste your time. Avoid PLDs! A lot of parties I've made have been with a COR or BRD. Stacking their enhancements with Ecliptic Howl is win.

Don't main heal either. Get a RDM or WHM. They can Haste and Dia 2 and you can back up heal while doing BPs.

This new update should make leveling SMN a lot easier, sucks for those who had to go to 75 without it though

There's two things funny about the torque situation on midgardsormr. One is that they seem to be the ONLY server where a torque sells for more than 20k. The other is that there are now 20 torques up for sale.

Problem is that if you're not main healing you're pretty much dead weight. The damage output from an avatar meleeing + bloodpact damage is much less than a single meleer, at BEST half per fight, but over the long term you're probably doing 1/4 to 1/3 of a melee's damage while doing 0 healing. I've been fortunate to have a static to do my SMN in and we have a PL and people parsing and SMN as DD in XP are pure and total shit. I really get a kick out of people saying how wonderful SMN are when they parse out as less than half a dragoon.
