    Another question <_<

8 ) Could you change the 'looking for party' feature so that you are able to seek while doing different stuff on another job? E.g farming on your 45 THF while looking for a party on your 75 WAR, or running a teleporting buisness on your WHM37 (where you're constantly in and out of a party) while seeking on your RDM, etc.

is it just me, or has anyone else read this at least 30-50times PER dev discussion/interview/se+player related event. I think it was said why it wasn't possible before, but more along the lines of something that can be done in the future possibly... i forget. I'm tired of seeing this. Shutup and farm on your 45thf, if you wanna xp on your war, get on war and seek. Seriously, if i'm fucking farming, i dont wanna be bothered with invites. If i'm seeking though, farming is nice, but thats what crafting is for.

All the more reason to keep reminding them.... might as well stop asking about changing 3kings/sky cause they've heard all of those questions too.

I hate to say it, but 32 posts (and a galka LOL) just smoked 499 poosts.

anyways, your 75 war can prolly farm 100x more efficiently than a 45 thf.

You wouldn't know that though because you've demonstrably never picked up a book nor educated yourself on the matter. Let me guess, overweight housewife?

    I like this idea.

They really need to do something. Hades doesn't even bother anymore trying to get back the Candescence anymore.

Please make some decent gear so I don't have to swap every slot. Add 10 int, mnd, chr, 32 mp, 10 elemental and +12% movement on Nashira legs so I have one leg slot item instead of 5.

I dont ask questions and whine about 3 kings. They can stay the way they are, i'll still go there. Lets keep reminding them that you want to farm on your 45thf and seek on your 75war at the same time... They will keep reminding you that they can't do that because of limitations and programming difficulties. So lets continue to drive both points into them over and over for 3 years, It'll change sometime right? Just like everything else we've complained about for 3years that has changed. If you're gonna complain and beg them to change something over and over and over again, and you think maybe one day will get through and they'll change... then fucking complain about something good and that could really use a fucking change. Fuck your 45thf, your war can outfarm it. If you want to xp on war, get on war. If you really wanna make money while seeking, there are ways to do it without having to leave town and change jobs. Yeah, thats right, you can make money without changing jobs or leaving town, interesting isn't it?

Nynja: I'm the hume, and with 99 CC I don't need to farm on WAR or THF, was just an example.

lol. Maybe you didn't notice, but you're the one who's bitching and complaining and crying, not me. Anyway, regardless of what you think it would be very convienient to have this feature, as it would also let you seek on multiple jobs at once. I don't really care if you'd prefer to stand around in jeuno all day. o_O

Also, I don't see how it can possibly be even remotely difficult to associate character data with a few extra booleans, anyway... And i've been working in the industry for over a year now... I call BS (Was the guy who said this even a developer?).

    It's called risk vs. reward.

If you make synths you're over cap on unable to break, then nobody has motivation to buy NQ off the AH when they can get it synthed, and have a chance at HQ as well. Then the only motivation to buy these NQs is to make the NQ so cheap that it's not worth going for HQ chance. When there's such a supply of NQs that the loss on NQ can't be recovered on the average HQ rate, then the item loses any value in being synthed.

Unfortunately, since items don't deteriorate in this game, this will happen anyways due to an eventual overwhelming supply, but it will happen MUCH more slowly when there's risk involved in the synth.

As a crafter, I prefer to be able to break synths I'm capped on. I hate DOING it, but I've made much more money because I can break a synth but didn't than I've lost in breaks.

I've noticed that there are some occasions when items are purchased from the AH in quantities that make no sense, or by names that simply don't exist (someone once overpaid for a shield I auctioned - I tried to return the excess gil but the player name wouldn't be accepted, which only happens when the name doesn't exist).

I'm reasonably certain from this that S-E do occasionally balance the market by purchasing items to destroy them.

The other thing that keeps the NQ market honest is the desynth trade - real risk and reward in that.

Something I'd like to see them address is avatar pathing. When I move 3 steps north, my avatar shouldn't move 7 steps east, 3 steps north, and 7 steps west to catch up.

I think it's less about the complexity of making you able to LFP on multiple jobs, and more about the complexity of the required changes to the searching system to accomodate those changes. For example, say you want to LFP on WHM75 while you farm on SMN75, and someone does "/sea all 75". Does your name show up twice, once as WHM and once as SMN? Or do you add a windows-type interface that lets you expand one person's name to show the jobs they are seeking on? It's not as simple as it seems at first. You're pretty much talking about a complete rewrite of the searching system, not to mention making it slower by adding complexity.

It's not that difficult, really. Any game/ui designer worth their salt should be able to come up with a system in a few days at most.

The easiest way would be to have "/sea inv" return specialized data.

Want to seek normally? /inv will register you to seek on your current job.

Want to seek your whm while farming as thf? /inv whm will register your whm data, which will keep showing whm for anyone doing /sea inv, even if you are on a different job (until you join a party or log off, which will deregister your seek). /inv whm and then /inv smn will register both your jobs; now you can seek simultaneously on multiple jobs.

You'll only have 1 /seacom, but thats not a huge issue. Just expand the /seacom to 5 lines, and people will be fine. Most people aren't going to seek more than 2-3 jobs at a time maximum anyway, and if so...they can deal with it by only communicating relevant information instead of announcing they have a haubergeon and sniper's rings.

Combine this with an upgrade to /sea inv. I want to be able to search multiple job types at once. /sea all inv whm smn rdm should give me all the people seeking of those jobs. Now I can look for a main healer with a single command, instead of making 3 queries or making 1 query and parsing it manually for main healers. If you have registered 2 jobs, yea you're going to show up twice, I don't see that as a big deal.

You see aurik, that makes way too much sense, and is way too useful; therefore SE will never do it. Queue the response "PS2 limitations."

People would still buy NQ. I dont understand why you have to make behemoth leather when you can break it but you cant hq it. That makes no sense at all. Same with clothcraft you can break cloth but you cant hq it. When you can break 4 level 45 synths in one day you start to wonder whats the point of this shit.
