Aura Steal vs Regular Steal

i stole suzaku's wind wall and used it to tank byakko today for a lil during kirin

other fun things are berserk from big bomb, or friars lantern (hi2u 800 atk lol gives like +400)

Thing i hate about it though is berserk and assassins charge dont stack (mob berserk) meaning /war berserk and mob berserk would stack i think, but i never sj war so -,-

and its definitely not 100% of the time, i fail steal on buffs alot, at least 30% :/ and i have 2 lvls in it

Mother Globes Spikes are Aura Stealable. I'm not 100% sure because i don't play RDM, but I think those aren't dispellable with RDM. Also I've heard Cerberus' spikes are Dispellable, but at a low rate. Basically there are a handful of mobs in the game that resist dispel 100%. Like if you get the message "Dispel has no effect on the <t>" Aura Steal definitely won't work, but for mobs which give 100% "<t> resists the spell" Aura Steal can still work.

MG spikes are dispelable, but they pop up again shortly after (I think when it summons next). Same with cerbs, Ive taken them off once when tanking >.>.

The real test here for whether or not aura-steal blocks regular steals would be to find someone that has stolen BOTH a buff and an item with a single steal. Until that happens, there remains the suspicion that whichever is checked first blocks the second on success.

Cant steal more than 1 item/buff/anything at the same time, so it wont happen.

It might be level dependent, there has been times when i tried to steal a ws buff from a too weak tonberry and gotten mythril coin.
Yet theres also been times when i tried to steal a gold beastcoin from an utsusemi buffed + freshly spawned stabber only to dispel/drain his buff.

I don't think finale works on them either. But I've never succeeded in dispelling something RDM or BRD can't. I've tried to Aura Steal Reactor Cool by Ix'zdeis, which isn't dispellable by RDMs (not sure if BRDs can), in Sea so many times. Never worked.

We've gotten 4 or 5 armlets out of maybe 30 Dynamis-Xarc. Not really a bad rate for us. Once we got 2 armlets in the same run.

in fact in my last experience in dynamis i stole a buff after a mob 2hr'd...it was warcry...but i was freaking out thinking it was the 2hr.

This could be easily proven. Go pick on Mimas for a while in Delfkutt's. I think the only buff he generates is 100 Fists. When he does it, try and Steal it.

I haven't done any extensive testing, but it seems that anything that is normally dispellable can be stolen by aura steal.

Anyone stolen something that isnt? (Yes I've tried a few times to steal hundred fists in dynamis but no dice)
