eh, it's in cantonese and yes they're subtitled in many different language if you got the dvd version

People keep saying the original was better and whatnot, but I loved this so much because of Leo haha The ending was really sad though Ksandra, I have to agree.

Great movie though.

Sorry for the bumpage, but this just came on dvd. Couple things:

1) One thing I forgot was the beginning after Damon graduates into the Staties he goes into Nicholson's car and Nicholson gives him something in that box. Is it supposed to be a gun, or what? Do they ever hint at this? I couldn't find it.

2) I find it hard to believe Wahlberg is the only actor nominated for an Oscar in this. I thought any of the big 4 or 5 actors in this could have been nominated, and I never would have thought Wahlberg woulda been the only one. Good for him though, I like him and he was great in this.

Yeah I definately saw DiCaprio getting nom'd for this instead of Blood Diamond (although is work in BD was fucking brilliant too). Also coulda seen Jack Nicholson getting nom'd or hell, even damon.

About the box, yes I think it was a gun. Don't think its a big deal or anything though..

yeah i think it was really just a symbolic thing showing that he was still accepting rewards from costello. you didn't have to really know what was in it, just that even after graduating, he was still under costello's power.

and i gotta say, wahlberg had some of best lines i'd ever heard in a movie. hilarious

And yes Wahlberg was so classic. I love in the meeting with the SIU people, when they guy asks him something, and hes like:
"Maybe yes, maybe no, maybe fuck yourself" lmao
