Wireless connection issue

My wireless connection stopped appearing in the Network Connections. I clicked the repair icon to repair the connection, and then it froze, and since then i can't view the wireless connection in View Network Connections. The internet works, and i can see the software's wireless connection only. What has happened and how can I make it appear back in the network connections?

Also I tried to bring it back, but i failed. I went to setup wireless network wizard, and how my hardrive in My Computer has the wireless logo instead of a harddrive.

I have the same problem (somewhat), my internet connection randomly switches from Local Area Connection 2 to Local Area Connection 3. When I try to set up a static IP, it gives me an error that there's already a connection with that IP in my network, and I have to change the boots from local to network to network to local to restore internet.

I got this issue resolved. System restore feature worked it out.
